Tebing Guest House Taman Negara Malaysia Kuala Tahan

A great stay & super location. Spacious clean comfortable rooms with an outdoor seating area. Also a 5 minute walk from a shop and floating restaurants. The hosts were really helpful at booking the activities and transfers! Would recommend.

Wij sliepen hier voor drie nachten, met twee kleine kinderen. De staf in het restaurant is super vriendelijk en gastvrij, het ontbijt is om van te smullen. Echt heerlijk! De kamer zijn basic maar prima. Onze airco leek niet optimaal te werken waardoor het vrij warm bleef op de kamer. Maar door de hoge luchtvochtigheid was het sowieso enorm warm in de regio. We raden dese guesthouse aan.

We had a wonderful stay at Tebing Guest House. We experienced the beauty of Taman Negara - but also we experienced the warm people and hospitality of the little town outside Taman Negara called Kuala Tahan. Of course, the special hospitality of Rani, the host and staff at the guest house deserves a special mention. Rani has a keen eye and makes sure the guest house is run efficiently. He and his team can help recommend the best travel options for getting in/out of Taman Negara. In our case, they arranged for our travel to and from Jerantut. We stayed at Tebing Guest House for 4 nights. Here are a few notes travelers might find useful. Location: Kuala Tahan sits right at the entrance of the park, across the river. Tebing guest house is located right on the river bank with a breakfast area overlooking the river and the forest. The location is absolutely lovely. A short walk along the river - 300 meters - leads to the ferry crossing boats. Ferry crossings are quick and only 1 RM per person. Breakfast: Their breakfast is full service and fantastic. It comes with egg/omelette, toast, jams, cakes and baked items and rotating local hot dishes such as Nasi Goreng, Char Kway Teow, Roti Canai, etc. Breakfast Tip - Be sure to get the Banana Pancake. I've never had a better pancake!!!! Breakfast Tip - The lookout from the breakfast area along the riverside is a great place to spot birds in the morning. Be sure to take your binoculars. Activities - There is no need to "search around" for the "best deals" for activities. The activities offered through Tebing are super reasonable and they get the best local people for the job. We went for a safari experience that was extraordinary!

Muy buena ubicación para visitar el parque natural. En mi caso llegué en coche de alquiler, súper fácil, desde Kuala Lumpur en unas 4h. Habitación simple pero con un buen aire acondicionado y sin ruidos. Lo único mejorable es que la ducha no está separada del resto del baño con lo que mojas todo al ducharte, pero más que aceptable. Desayuno bastante bueno por 15rn por persona

Petit hôtel sans prétention avec chambre clean, clim et ventilateur. Douche avec pression. Lit confortable. Pour le petit déjeuner, il y a un buffet disponible et on peut commander des œufs et des pancakes. Sinon, mention spéciale au propriétaire qui est vraiment très agréable et très serviable, il m'a beaucoup aidé pour effectuer mon programme : transfert, activités dans la jungle...

You can’t expect a lot for this price. The rooms were clean, the airco worked fine. The shower cold, no fridge, bed very hard. People very kind and helpfull! Location super! Breakfast 15myr simple but oke.
