The Riv - Riveria City KL Sentral by Sleepy Bear

If you have big concern about bathroom cleaningness, you may find it uncomfortable. Nonetheless, the apartment has everything you need except for the washing machine. There is a pay laundromat upstairs. You may need to wait a bit for the elevator and is ventilation can improve. Not many gym machine in the gym room and the facilities are old. But the pool is amazing and did not get really packed during my stay after 8 PM. The location is so convenient where you can walk to NU Sentral for this big mall with food and shopping.

The room was spotless, spacious, and well-maintained. The bed was comfortable, and all amenities worked perfectly. The location was convenient, and the host was friendly and responsive. Overall, it was a great stay, and I highly recommend it.

Once I arrived there was no one to welcome me, I asked in the reception and they told me that this is handled by a private landlord and is a different hotel. I was told to call them, although when I called no one picked up. Eventually I had to contact Trip.com customer support and then someone showed up. After waiting for a long time I was suddenly told I had to make a 200 Ringit deposit. When I told them that I already paid online they just said "everyone does it". So I had to go to the ATM outside and pay a withdrawal fee. Witch was quite irritating since most other things in Kuala Lumpur can be paid by card, so I didn't plan to use cash. Later on I was showed to the room, witch was nice and clean. It was a complete apartment. Although there was no toothbrush or any amenities that you would usually find at a hotel. Since I stayed for 6 days, I asked to have the room cleaned, only to be told that the room can only be cleaned from Tuesday to Thursday and there will be an additional fee of 50 Ringit! Further more, all of this is managed through a WhatsApp chatbot who doesn't even know witch room or building I'm in and cannot understand a simple conversation so you have to repeat yourself many times. On the top of the building there is a swimming pool and the view is spectacular. Although I found the pool water to be dirty and heavily chlorinated. Another thing is that, during the time I stayed there, I was woken up every day by the ongoing construction outside. As I saw others mention, the elevator has a special working schedule. I will upload a picture of this aswell. Although to be quite frank, I would choose a different hotel next time I come to Malaysia.

The SleepyBear support ladies, Julia and Aza, are very patient with my questions and have fast respond rate. The place room is tidy and clean. It also provide everything, except dental kit which is fine.. The location is also a strategic as it in in the centre and near to public tranport (monorail). Check-in process is also smooth.

Amazing stay with beautiful views and perfect for remote work! Wifi was good!. We absolutely loved our stay at The Riv by Sleepy Bear. The location is fantastic, very convenient, and close to almost everything you need in the city. The facilities here are brilliant. The swimming pool is great, and it comes with a beautiful view over the skyline. The fitness center is a bit small, but it is fully functional and has everything you need for a quick workout. As a digital nomad, the best part for me was the co-working space. They even offer the possibility to use a private office if it's vacant, which gave us a quiet, private space to work with an amazing view. We enjoyed it so much that we actually decided to extend our stay here! Highly recommended.

This hotel was located in a very good location. It is not far away from the KL center.

The place is beautiful with a lovely view of the pool, the service is excellent, and the staff is welcoming to everyone.

Very nice place, not too far from the centre. Very clean and amenities include coworking space, nice swimming pool etc

Good 1. Convenient 2. Cheap. Bad 1. No front desk check in, not convenient. 2. Ask for 200 deposit. 3. Aircon not working, get hot after 30min. 4. The bedsheets didn't change, has a long hair on the bedsheets before I go to bed. Evidence picture available.
