"A great hostel in Kranj centre, the room was clean and comfortable. Terrace views were lovely, perfect place to enjoy a beer. Check in was easy and the staff was very friendly with good English. Would definitely stay here again if in the area, close proximity to the airport so easy to get there via local bus for around €1.70. "

"Hyvin paljon matka-hotelli mukava lentokentälle ja moottoritie. Sekateollisuus maatalouden alueella. vuoristo näkymä mukava. Henkilöstö auttaa, mutta hotelli säästää ylimääräisiä, kuten keittiö tai kahvila huoneessa. Huone oli hirveä tupakan haju. A/c hyvä. Aamiainen hyvä mutta ei todellinen maito kahvilassa. Mukava huone paitsi hirviön tupakan haju. Avaa ikkuna. Hiljainen, ainakin vuoristo-/kenttäpuolella."

Mama's House

"Just had the worst experience at Mama’s Hostel. Not because of the hostel in itself or the guests, but he manager of the hostel was being so rude and uncomfortable. To start off, he overcharged us because we came late and didn’t have a reservation (which I guess is fair enough, even though we called in advance to ask if there was room and if we could come). Then he made some weird jokes about being “a real man” and hurried us with the payment and got annoyed when we were slow at answering his questions. Later in the evening we sat in the kitchen and talked and had one beer each - he came in yelling at us, calling us rude and disrespectful for making noise this late and not closing the door. We apologised and tried to reason with him in a civil way, telling him that we hadn’t realised we were being noisy but that he could just tell us in a nice way because we didn’t know. He didn’t listen to us and just kept on calling us children and blaming the youth for not being well behaved. Then in the morning when we had checked out and was eating breakfast outside he came out and asked us if we had used the rooms that he told us to. We said that we did and it might have been a matter of miscommunication (cause honestly he was difficult to understand) but he didn’t agree and then got mad at us for that. Nice hostel and nice guest, but the rudest most immature manager I have ever come across. Really a shame.. not gonna recommend this place to anyone.."

"Excellent place, tranquil, free bikes also for children, big garden, friendly staff, good place to park, somewhat remote, really enjoyed our stay with 2 kids. The best part: running river sounds 24/7, we slept with doors and windows open!"

"Pieni kiveä minuutteina lentokentältä. Järjestelin lentokentän hakemaan ja pudota aikani siellä ja kerättiin molemmat hymyilevät isäntäni, jotka olivat supermajoitus. Heidän talonsa on hyvin lähellä lentokenttää ja huoneessa oli hyvin varustettu yksittäinen huone, jossa on parveke, tv, hiustenkuivaaja ja erittäin mukava vuode. Spotlessly puhdistaa isäntä ja jopa tarjosi tervetullut juoma ja suihku geelit jne.. Hyvää arvoa ja tuntui hyvin tervetulleen koko yön siellä. Haluaisin erittäin suositella."
