Bamboo Bonaire Boutique Resort

We spent 12 wonderful and relaxing days in Bonaire at the Baboo Bonaire Resort. Everything was just perfect: the cottage was in a very quiet location, the grounds were relaxing, and we were impressed by the friendliness and helpfulness of the Baboo team. We would highly recommend this resort. Thanks again to the super Baboo team.

My husband and I stayed in the honeymoon suite for our honeymoon in April 2024 during the off season. This was our first time to Bonaire. We had to postpone our original trip from September 2023 and the process to rebook was very easy. The resort is so beautiful. The grounds are so well kept and it makes you feel like your own private experience while on the island. It was very nice and quiet within the resort. The cottage is beautiful. They have a handpainted sign at your cottage when you arrive that you can keep after your stay. It was such a beautiful, unique keepsake. The food was delicious and champagne breakfast sent to the cottage was wonderful (this was an add on). We had breakfast 2 mornings and while it was delicious, it was the same options. This may be different depending on season and restaurant staff though. We also loved having the welcome basket with snacks when we arrived (that is an add on). The cottage felt so cozy, especially the private outdoor space. Be sure to check the availabilty of their restaurant CHEFS before you book. We booked in the off season and the restaurant was closed for vacation. There are other options within walking distance nearby though so we still enjoyed that. The staff was very kind and helpful. Very easy to message during our stay and booking excursions was great. While there are things in walking distance, a car is definitely recommended for the rest of the island. The private jacuzzi was amazing with our cottage. The pool area for the resort is beautiful, although small if many people were there. It was quiet whenever we were there, however. The hammam massage was amazing! Shiva the resort cat was also so sweet when we were lucky enough to see her out and about! We hope to come back another time and experience CHEFS! We highly recommend for couples!

Lovely tropical garden with cabins spread out over the property. Each cabin has a porch with hammock and sitting area. We had our own kitchen to make some breakfast. Nice food trucks are nearby or great restaurants in town. The bed in our cabin was nice and big.

Een heel sfeervol resort, waar je echt het gevoel hebt in de tropen te zijn en je zorgeloos kunt verblijven en uiteraard een avond bij Chefs dineren, ook op het resort gevestigd is onvergetetijk ! De mensen die er werken zijn bijzonder vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Kortom een aanrader.

The lush greenery and artful decor create an intimate atmosphere that makes each guest feel like they have the entire place to themselves—a rare luxury. Nestled conveniently close to the heart of the city, the resort offers easy access to local attractions, including the renowned Cliffs dive site. While we missed the opportunity to dine at the sought-after Chefs restaurant, fully booked months in advance, the resort still managed to delight us with a sumptuous breakfast in bed—a thoughtful touch that added to our celebration. The staff at Bamboo Boutique Resort deserves a special mention for their exceptional service. Attentive yet unobtrusive, they ensured our stay was nothing short of splendid. As we bid farewell to this enchanting retreat, we knew without a doubt that Bamboo Boutique Resort would be our go-to sanctuary in future visits to Bonaire. It’s not just a resort; it’s a memorable experience that stays with you long after you’ve left its gates. Highly recommended for those seeking a slice of paradise with a personal touch. Be sure to bring reef friendly bug spray and sun screen. Also try Lucianos Ice Cream bar. We went every single day. Very special experience - a small oasis of peace, calm, serenity and comfort. The Bamboo Team were amazing - accommodating but not intrusive, willing to help with any request and nothing was too much trouble….and the accommodation was excellent….would definitely recommend…

Het is zo fijn in Bamboo Bonaire. Fijne vibe, vriendelijke mensen, je eigen fijne plekje in het magnesium dompelbad na een dag duiken. Beproefd recept, we waren er al voor de derde keer. Ook de voorzieningen voor duiken (spoel- en droogvoorzieningen) zijn op orde.

Came for the water not the hotel. One of the best hotels experiences ever. It’s beautiful. It’s quiet. Serene. Amazing. And Chefs restaurant is pricey but well worth every penny. I can’t even describe the dinner experience. I’m a foodie and was floored not only by the food but the the chefs themselves. Amazing people

This place is fabulous! My husband and I did tons of research looking for an affordable getaway in the Caribbean to escape our busy lives in the U.S. and we definitely found it at Bamboo Bonaire! We were looking for serenity and relaxation and this place offers some of the best! Every detail was taken care of straight down to an electric mosquito zapper for our room. The service was impeccable, the amenities abundant, and a private lunch pool made us feel like royalty! Would 10/10 recommend to those looking for a quiet island getaway!
