We are extremely disappointed with our recent stay. Upon arrival, we were forced to pay an additional 200 THB per night for our 7-year-old child, despite not given an extra bed.. Staff claimed this fee was listed on the website, but on Trip.com, it only mentions charges for extra beds. We were charged 600 THB total, and even a 50 THB fee was demanded for an extra towel. The staff were unhelpful and rude, repeatedly blaming us for "not reading" terms and giving inconsistent explanations. One even pretended to be new staff. To make matters worse, the bathroom door in our room was faulty where my child and husband got locked in three times. This was extremely distressing, especially for our young child.
At the kids club, our children were scolded harshly for jumping and running which is expected to be the basic behavior in a play area. When we questioned the staff, she excused it by saying she had a sore throat. No apology was given, and the attitude toward our children was unacceptable. This hotel’s online presentation is misleading. The poor hospitality and lack of accountability completely ruined our vacation. We expected better, especially for a family-friendly resort. Staff behavior and the management of facilities were unacceptable.
