The old fishing village of Kovalam, nowadays one of the prime tourist destinations of India, is located at the Arabian Sea in the southern part of Kerala - 15 kilometres south of Trivandrum, the capital of the state. Its golden sandy beach is contrastingly clubbed with green coco-palm flora, blue sky, and peaceful ambiance of the slowly rolling sound of waves. Although Kovalam consists of three adjacent crescent shaped beaches, the southernmost near the Lighthouse, known as the 'Lighthouse beach' is the most popular. This marvellous beach is a tourists dream come true - a sheltered natural bay with cool soothing palms and gentle waves. Kovalam is an ultimate tourist destination welcoming warmheartedly both local and international vacationers.However despite welcoming numerous tourists at its peak season from December to March, its back alleys do not fail to provide the calm and quiet getaway many India visitors are looking for. On one of such back alleys, within a stones through from the beachfront, in early 2017 our management team found the forgotten pearl of Volga Palace Hotel sadly standing at the prime location of the village. During the coming months this pearl was polished both outside and inside, and the concept of home away from home stay with focus on personal service,of the New Volga Palace was introduced to Kovalam accommodation menu.We today provide both A/C and non A/C rooms, all with en-suite facilities and spacious private balconies. We have the one and only rooftop Diamond room offering a diamond class accommodation in a traditional Kerala architecture ambience with a glimps of Arabian Sea for a traveller looking for something afordable yet extraordinary. We do not just provide accommodation but our signature is personal tailor made service. Do not therefore hesitate to ask for help in arranging tours, finding yoga classes to attend, making restaurant bookings, or having ayurvedic treatments booked at our in-house retreat center. The facility has only the bare minimum. Good bathrooms, but rooms and amenities are not perfectly tidy. Needs improvement. Also, ac remote went off after some time.

Very nice room, manager saji and staff lip u all are nicely welcome good treat, lovely so much hotel staying, every time any ask arrangement proper so nice, staff libu very good person. Only one improvement for road frontside big board for hotel name.

I am not staying in this property because very bad experience in the property, rooms not cleaned insects inside the room, bedsheet cover is used one and water dipped in the washroom. Tv not available in this room.
