Brennia Kottefaru Maldives

Lovely holiday! Get ready for a long review, hope someone finds it helpful! We flew to male direct from london Heathrow which was 10 hours on the way there and 11 on the way back. As soon as we landed into male our cases were ready and when we walked through someone was holding up a sign saying Brennia kotafaru on who took us straight to the desk to get our bags weighed for the sea plane. We then had to go in a short bus journey to the sea plane (about 5 mins) . I read online the luggage and hand luggage per person should weigh 25kg in total (mine was more but I wasn’t charged. I think I was over by about 4kg ) 40 mins sea plane from male and you are there. On arrival at 11am luckily our room was ready straight away and we were taken there on a golf buggy. Our luggage was then delivered to our room shortly after. We stayed in a private pool on the beach room 126. The Room is spacious. The bed is a super king size and comfy. English plug sockets Coat hangers Good air conditioning which doesn’t turn off when you open a door. Shower pressure could be better but it’s alright. TV- we managed to log into Netflix (we upgraded our Netflix temporarily to the one without adverts as it doesn’t support this abroad). We watched it and the WiFi meant it did buffer a few times but wasn’t too bad. We had a problem with our fridge getting cold which was a problem because I took mounjaro injection with me that needs to be kept in the fridge. We asked for this to be looked at and they sorted this out quickly. The drinks in the mini fridge are free and re stocked daily. But if you request and more or something that’s not in the fridge it is chargeable. I was disappointed as I drink Diet Coke and there was no diet drinks at all in the fridge but when we saw the cleaner he said he would call daily and request diet cokes for us instead of the other drinks. He was very helpful and friendly and we didn’t have to pay for this. The room is cleaned daily with fresh beach and bathroom towels. Someone comes at least twice a day to check the room and make sure you don’t need anything. The room has a pool and is very private (bushes out the front) so you don’t have a sea view, but it’s nice and private) there’s a little passage way to the beach through the bush. The bathroom is hot as it’s a semi outdoor bathroom (I find this a lot in the Maldives they seem to have no air con) there’s 2 showers and a toilet and 2 sinks. Had giant ants after the rain but only for 1 day. Our first bathroom had the hairdryer in the bathroom where there’s no air conditioning. But the second room we stayed in , it was in the room with air conditioning. Very spacious bathroom. The food is buffet style and waiters serve you your drinks. The food is ok, at breakfast they make fresh pancakes, have an egg station where someone cooks you fresh eggs. Fruit station where someone cuts your fruit for you. All hot food and cold. Lots of variety. At lunch usually fresh pizzas in their pizza

A huge thank you to Brennia Kottefaru, from the moment we arrived to the moment we left it was a faultless and a magical experience. We were greeted by the very professional ‘Ruby’ whom showed us all around our island on a buggy, we were staying on the lagoon side of the overwater pool villa and we were overwhelmed by its beauty. Each mealtime was a treat and the waiters addressed us personally and with such care and attention each time, special thanks to Azad, Azeem and Abdulla for helping make it all so memorable. Nothing was too much trouble for anyone on the island, a free snorkelling trip and free sunset cruise were real delights, we swam with 3 turtles which with my 2 grown up Son’s I shall hold dear in my heart forever. I can’t possibly list all that is perfect about our stay because there is too much. Abraham the islands manager always checked in on us almost daily to confirm everything was just perfect and it was, it always was. A huge thank you to all the staff at Brennia, our magical time with you and the island’s beauty we shall hold dear forever.

14 night stay in a deluxe pool villa(101),situated next door to main food hall,which was very handy. The staff are fantastic and a credit to the hotel,always polite and friendly and should all be treated with respect from guests,special mention to Annu and Afeef who always greeted us at meal times with a welcoming smile and a pleasure to have met them both and also the lads serving drinks around the pool area were fantastic. Our first ever visit to the Maldives and hopefully not our last,beautiful hotel and surroundings, beach/sea are amazing but pity some guests litter such a fabulous setting and should be ashamed Our villa was fantastic and a massive thankyou to Araful who looked after our villa and it was immaculately clean every day. Food was great and plenty of choice everyday,can't comment on night entertainment as not our thing Only moan was music around the pool,which was either repetitive or non existant ,the background music in the main restaurant was also repetitive.

Siamo appena rientrati da una vacanza da sogno al Brennia Kottefaru e non possiamo che lasciare una recensione a 5 stelle! Eravamo in 15 e siamo tornati tutti con il cuore pieno di gioia e gratitudine. Un grazie speciale al personale e all’assistenza Turisanda, in particolare a Davide e Daniele: sempre presenti, disponibili, professionali e gentili. Ci hanno fatto sentire davvero coccolati. Un altro grande protagonista del nostro soggiorno è stato Ibbe, con cui abbiamo stretto un’amicizia sincera: al momento della partenza, sia noi che lui abbiamo pianto per il dispiacere! Ancora oggi ci sentiamo per telefono e speriamo davvero di rincontrarci. Le camere sono curate nei minimi dettagli, la spiaggia è bella anche se, per via dei coralli, è consigliato l’uso delle scarpette da mare. Il mare è uno spettacolo: trasparente, color smeraldo, pieno di vita. Le escursioni proposte sono emozionanti e ben organizzate. Il cibo è ottimo, con cucina internazionale e una zona pasta gestita da uno chef italiano che ci ha fatto sentire a casa. La colazione è ricca e varia, e il pacchetto all inclusive (sia alcolico che analcolico) è davvero completo. In sintesi: una vacanza indimenticabile, in un luogo da sogno, con un’accoglienza che ci ha fatto sentire parte di una grande famiglia. Torneremo sicuramente!

Been here 5 days out of 11 and this Island is Lovely . Cannot fault the food or staff - 2 girls in Lime and Azad .As a Travel Agent , I do not normally do reviews until I get home but we are having a bit of an Issue with the MOZZIES .We normally do get bit , so we normally take preventative measures but not to this extent .At the moment we have 60+ bites between us .Reception have been good and are sending someone to Spray outside later but as things stand at the moment , I am quite miserable . I wish we had gone for an Overwater Villa .My advice to you is to upgrade to the Overwater Villas and bring PLENTY of MOZZIE REPELLANT .

Von Anfang bis Ende top organisiert, stehts freundlich und hilfsbereit. Herzliches Willkommen bereits durch Ina am Flughafen, Seaplane Transfer 45 Minuten, Brennia ist ein Traum - lange weiße Strände, unfassbare Wasserfarben, gute Schnorchelmöglichkeiten. Sehr sauber und wunderschöne Bungalows. Essen authentisch und gut. Staff immer freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Im Restaurant vorallem Micael und Asim zu erwähnen! Wir haben unseren Urlaub innvollen Zügen genossen! Brennia ist absolut empfehlenswert und hat viele Postkarten- Motive zu bieten Anrufe man noch lange zurück denken wird! 😀
