I had a bad experience compared to other budget hotels. As a general rule, if guests leave behind any belongings, regardless of their value - the hotel management should inform the guest. Unfortunately, the customer service here was extremely poor. When I called to check if I had left a set of pajamas, I was shocked to hear that the housekeeping staff had likely thrown it away because they assumed the guest didn’t want it anymore. What kind of service is that?
When I asked for more details, the front desk staff told me they found "a black T-shirt in torn condition" - what kind of response is that? Other hotels would at least contact the guest to reconfirm before discarding anything. Very disappointing experience. This was my first visit, and definitely my last. Not recommended.
