Excellent basic clean Greek studios in a good quiet location. We had a first floor room with balcony which had a distant but beautiful sea view. There were also tables & chairs which provided another view of the castle, windmill and the Old Town up on the hill. If you propped the apartment door pen there was a great afternoon breeze which cooled the studio. Linen and towels were changed regularly. The rooms were cleaned frequently. Studio is basic but has all the essentials, kettle, toaster, standard 2 ring cooker with enough utensils to get by even a hair dryer!

This is my second stay here, and my third time in kefalos. I have totally fallen in love with it. The studios are basic, but clean. Comfy beds, good shower and great location, near the church, and 5 mins from kefalos supermarket and beach. All the rooms face south, so get morning sun on the balcony. However they all have a small patio area at the front as well. Air conditioning is extra. I think €8 a night. I didn't bother, as expensive for a solo traveller, but the room was extremely hot, and I needed to keep doors closed at night because of mosquitos. The older couple who own kefalos studios are lovelly. Don't speak much English, but very friendly. Definitely would book here again.

Het is een zeer netjes en schoon hotel in een rustige omgeving. De mensen die er werken willen je met alles helpen. Het ontbijt is vrij beperkt maar wel goed. Het zwembad is schoon en heerlijk! Je komt hier echt tot rust. Het is voor mensen die een rustige vakantie willen in een mooi gebied zeker een aanrader.

Basic but clean apartments. A small amount of self catering equipment, I'm not sure if you coukd cook an actual meal as I didn't try. I found the bed comfortable, & a bonus that the pillows were quite thick. The owners parents were friendly with very basic English spoken. I didn't meet the daughters that own a block of apartments each. I know at least 1 lady works full time. The garden is astro turf not grass. Hot water 24 hours a day, which is unusual for apartments. Typical Greek tiny shower, with a shower head you have to hold. Water always escaped under the curtain so the floor gets wet, but that's typical of apartments in Greece too. Towels & sheets changed every other day, & room cleaned daily. There is a safe in the wardrobe which you are not charged for. A slow 7 ish minute walk to Kefalos Market & the beach. There is a small supermarket closer. I didn't mind the morning walk but I found it difficult walking back in the heat. I've booked for next year. Kefalos is a very quiet resort. Definitely not for young ones wanting to party. Plenty of restaurants to choose from along the harbour road. No taxis at all in Kefalos, just so you are aware. If you book somewhere in the old village or set back away from the beach you'll need to get a bus & they stop quite early. All in all a good place. Very typical of Greek apartments on the islands

Va bene se avete poche aspettative. Il posto non è male ma il servizio lascia un po’ a desiderare. La stanza non viene rifatta tutti i giorni… la carta igienica va chiesta ogni volta che finisce perché non la cambiano… su questo si può migliorare. Non credo abbiano il pos, siamo dovuti andare a prelevare per poter dare loro la tassa di soggiorno. In compenso è situato in una buona posizione, a piedi si arriva facilmente alla spiaggia e al paesino di kefalos. Inoltre intorno è pieno di mini market.

I booked kefalos studios because I had seen them on a previous visit, and the location is perfect. Just past the main church, and within 5 minutes of the beach and supermarket. The studios are well basic, but have all you need for basic self catering. Towels and sheets were changed 3x per week and there was always hot water, even early morning. All the studios overlook the garden area and get morning sun. By 8am it is already too hot to sit out, but there is a back balcony which gets the breeze and is cooler to sit on. The room was unbearably hot at night, but didn't use the air con as was on my own and the €7 per night was too expensive. I would suggest to the owners they could rent out fans. Would not have minded paying €20 a week to make sleep more comfortable. On the negative side, the fridge did not work properly as the door to the ice box did not shut, and the toilet took ages to refill with water. Toilet paper was not replaced. Only provided with 1 roll for 2 week stay and tea towel never washed. Minor issues aside, the studios are comfortable, quiet and would definitely book again. No pool, but you can use other pools.

The small complex very Greek and dated but spotless with sheets/towels twice a week change. Plenty of parking space. Basic cutlery but ample for Self catering needs. Nearest supermarket 300yds. ten minute walk. Kafalos Supermarket 20mins. walk very friendly staff lovely rolls, try the apple pie. If you shop there free beach beds/brolly. Elsewhere E5 to E8. Changing Money no banks only 2.cash machines.

Spent 10 days here after booking through On The Beach. The studio was clean & serviced daily by friendly staff. quite basic but that's all I wanted. Close to the shops, restaurants & beach. Self catering so you get to try a number of local restaurants. I would happily stay there again

Me and my son stayed her for a week and we both thought that one more week would have been good since it was a very familiar place, well cleaned and nice people For the price it was very good A quiet and peaceful environment It’s not far from the supermarket or the restaurants, nor the beach I have only one thing to complain about and it’s that nowhere does it say how you get the key to the rooms when you arrive at 3 am in the morning So we awoke the owner who got a bit angry for not noticing that they wrote our name in a slate But overall we are pleased with everything We would come back again
