Oceanis Beach & Spa Resort

Het hotel is schoon, mooi wit, groot en de kamer met jacuzzi was echt schitterend. Al bij al klinkt dit natuurlijk top, maar er waren ook wel een aantal punten die er voor zorgen dat dit niet de vakantie was die wij hoopte te hebben. Eten: Het ontbijt was echt top, de lunch en het avond eten was veel, maar het meeste smaakte hetzelfde en na 2x proberen hebben wij besloten om toch de rest van de avonden buiten de deur te gaan eten. Service: In het restaurant was er een gigantische onderbezetting, hierdoor moest het personeel 7 dagen werken ongeveer 14 uur per dag en dit zorgde ervoor dat zij niet meer goed oplettend en moe zijn. Dit was wel erg jammer, ook merkte ik dat de oudere gasten heel vriendelijk te woord werden gestaan en een praatje mee gemaakt wordt, maar de jongere alleen een Kalimera kregen en lang moesten wachten tot ze geholpen werden. Het vreemde is dat de receptie weer vol bezet staat met mensen die niet met een glimlach staan te werken. Erg jammer zeker omdat je goed geld betaald voor dit resort. Sfeer: Wij zijn liefhebbers van Griekenland, maar de griekse gezelligheid of gevoel is hier absoluut 0. Het kan net zo goed zijn dat je in een ander land zit als je op het resort blijft. De entertainer was echt geweldig en zijn dansmoves en glimlach zorgde in ieder geval voor een beetje gezelligheid. Laten we positief afsluiten de kamer met jacuzzi: Heel erg groot, mooi en schoon en het bed lag geweldig. Op de kamer was niks aan te merken. De schoonmaak was ook tip top. Als je er voor kiest om hier naar toe te gaan, hoop ik dat er meer personeel is en je een betere ervaring hebt dan wij.

This was our 4th visit, so clearly we like it. We were disappointed initially as we had requested the same room as the previous year, but on arrival early hours, we were allocated a different room. Once we had spoken to Themis, Reservations Manager, she cleared this up for us and all was good. As early season, they did not appear to be fully staffed, and after talking to some staff this was apparently due to some changes in management as well as more hotels within the area. Overall, we had a lovely stay, we enjoy our days, relaxing in the sunshine, visiting Kos town and recharging our batteries. I only had one annoyance, and this was trying to get a drink in the evening. This really needs to be addressed. When asking the drinks staff who were circulating, especially Lezlie, she would say she would come back but wouldn't, she would target certain customers, presumably the ones who tipped, and tell you she couldn't take your order as already had too many wrote down. This is clearly not acceptable. New lady Rosa, was very polite and new and did her best to get us a drink on our last evening, even though she was clearly not trained. I heard several people complaining about the service and I feel if addressed with more proficient, trained staff, who did not pick and choose, customers would be a lot happier, including us. We encountered staff we remembered from previous visits, these included, of course, Antonis, amazing at his job, so friendly and making everyone feel special. Yiorgos, always at his own pace, but we really liked him. Bar young man in the evening, he was new but very good at his job. Also need to mention Lorena, recognised us from Day 1, lovely hardworking lady, a pleasure to chat to. There was a very handsome young man in the dining hall, he was forward thinking and efficient. Another older gentleman also called Yiorgos, lunch time, he was new but so so polite, a true gentleman. Our cleaner for the week, sorry don't know her name, but she catered for all the jacuzzi rooms by the beach, always had a hello and a wave and did an excellent job. We love this place so much, we have booked already for next May, and hope it continues to live up to our expectations. Thank you once again, Oceanis Beach.

Overall, a lovely stay & would return. Rooms comfy & clean, tasty food with lots of options & staff really friendly & helpful. Food in Cullinarium restaurant was lovely.Entertainment was ok but didn't really see all of it. Beach was nice but very pebbly, so wear beach shoes. Couple of negatives - late arrival at 9.20pm & no food available until 11pm. Should have been offered something really, as not our fault bus delayed & last drop off! We weren't told about how to book at a la carte restaurants, so by the time we found out, only just got into one. Would advise to catch the girl early in the breakfast restaurant and book up asap, as this only way to book. Finally, although room advertised as garden view, ours looked down onto a courtyard & the entertainment area. I felt this was false advertising really. We were offered to look at a different room the next day, but decided to make do. On the positive, the entertainment finished at 11pm, so quiet after that. If you do actually want our version of a garden view & more quiet, you'll need to ask for a room at the front of the hotel. A few niggles but overall it was a lovely holiday.

The stunning hotel is in the perfect beach location. The staff were amazing, remembering us throughout the holiday and checking in regularly. There was a great selection of food which changed each night, but also kept to some basics so there was always a choice for the picky eater. Everything was immaculately clean and it felt a home from home. We will definitely be returning in the future.

Best all inclusive I have been to in Europe. Resort is stunning . We stayed in a hot tub room on the beach front . The staff were amazing , special shout outs to Maniola and the manager Stefanos . Food is really good , especially the med al la carte. Drinks are well made , entertainment is good too. Will come back .

We travelled as a group of eight. Our room was ideally situated near the quiet pool. All of us were located in the same block which was nice. We only spent the one day at the quiet pool, it was far too cold and was little used for bathing whilst we were there. There were plenty of sunbeds available on the beach, but you still needed to be up early for either of the pools. We preferred the beach although it can be windy this time of the year, but the sea was so much warmer. The beach is mainly shingle and stones, so beach shoes needed. Entertainment was generally ok and finished at 11pm The staff are very efficient and very friendly. The service is right up there with the best The food was excellent, although on occasions it could’ve been served hotter, particularly the breakfast. The white wine was passable, the beer was VERY weak, the cocktails were odd, and our favourites were not available on the AI program. We settled for spirits most nights, but even they seemed weak. Drink quality certainly requires improving. We visited the on site shop but found that extremely expensive, note there is a mini market just over the road for better value. We visited two of the a la carte restaurants. The stand out one for us was the culinary. Excellent service and lovely food. To be honest the Italian wasn’t up to standard for an alacart experience, the food was good but the ambience was lacking. Kos town was easy to get to on the bus for €2, but there isn’t much else around the area if you want to walk out. We had terrific time at a very good hotel, the grounds and buildings are kept to a very high standard, the staff are exceptional, the whole experience was just let down by the poor drink quality and extremely cold pools
