Stayed in this hotel as a couple on an all-inclusive basis in September/October 2024. The only reason this hotel will not receive a five-star review is due to the poor sleep we had due to the location of our room. Despite asking through Tui, an email to the hotel and also through the Grecotel Privilege Club prior to arrival, we were placed in a room at the front entrance to the hotel which was prone to loud traffic noise from lorries from the main road to Kos Town all night. Frustrating but not a deal breaker due to the positives. The room, whilst basic, was kept meticulously clean and the mini-bar was re-stocked with water every day. The bed was very comfortable, and if it hadn’t have been for the constant road noise at night, I imagine we would have slept very well. The hotel is a relatively large complex for Greece and areas were kept clean at all times, and the beautiful gardens were tended to and looked fantastic for the duration of our stay. Pools were kept clean and all areas seemed to be treated with cleanliness in mind. There were three pools, two main large pools which during our visit were absolutely freezing, due to this the pools went largely unused by the majority of guests. There is a smaller pool with a small bar serving drinks which was heated. When we clocked on this pool was heated we decided to use this one. The beach area is quite long and shallow with shingle / pebbles, please take water shoes if you want to enjoy the sea! The hotel has also installed and designed a nice man-made sandy beach area a little higher up which was very quiet and relaxing. We didn’t have any trouble finding sunbeds either round the pool or the beach, though I guess we were out of season slightly. The drinks were of a good quality and the cocktails were properly mixed and were really very good, we were pleased to see that there were none of those horrid pre-mixes! As all-inclusive guests we were allowed to choose a bottle of wine in the al-a-carte restaurants which was a great touch. Whilst the main buffet was decent with some variety, it did get very samey at breakfast and lunch very quickly. However the al-a-carte restaurants were fantastic and we were able to book into three of these, all of which we very much enjoyed (particularly the hot-stone and Greek restaurants). The food I must say was of a good quality and was very enjoyable. The staff were mostly kind and helpful, and were able to help us with any queries we had. The reception staff provided us with a bus timetable and were able to help direct us when we rented a car for the day. The location of the hotel is amazing, there are some fantastic nearby visits which are very reachable by car including the mountain town of Zia, the thermal hot springs at a local beach and various other attractions such as old ruins. Kos Town is a short trip away, however the bus gets very very busy and is unreliable. Unfortunately Kos only has licence for a few taxis on the isla
