Akti Palace Hotel

Da cliente Francorosso sinora soddisfatto...è stata una clamorosa delusione! Il villaggio è ben organizzato con belle camere e un ottimo ristorante centrale oltre a quelli a tema, che sono senz'altro da provare, molto buoni. Cose da evitare e da quì la delusione? Non pagate €350 per camere fronte mare a meno che non vi confermino le camere al secondo piano, altrimenti avrete una visuale non totale. I camerieri, a parte alcuni e rari, non parlano italiano e nemmeno si sforzano di farlo e per meglio farvi capire...alla reception non c'è una persona che parla italiano! Bisogna usare traduttore, ma in particolare con camerieri non ti intendi in nessun modo, perchè non vogliono farlo! Altro tasto dolente: spiaggia... alla faccia dei ciottoli indicati nel sito, per farvi capire ci sono così tanti sassi e massi che hanno messo sacchi di sabbia per fare dei corridoi (oltretutto mal tenuti) che andare in acqua diversamente ti fai male, per i bimbi da evitare! Ma anche per adulti che vogliano entrare liberamente in acqua...impossibile. Lettini malconci e mal tenuti e per fare capire se si parla di sabbia...tra gli ombrelloni mal tenuti e sporchi per camminare senza farsi male ci sono dei pancali...simpaticamente colorati con la bandiera greca! Servizi a mare inesistenti e mal gestiti da personale che per non lavorare ogni giorno ci hanno risposto che le condizione meteo non lo permettevano. Parlato anche con assistenze Francorosso...non è servito a niente Conclusione: se siete clienti Francorosso state alla larga da questo villaggio ne sarete delusi...ma anche chi non è cliente Francorosso per nostra esperienza è da evitare!!!

Our 3rd time in a row staying at the Akti Palace!! Absolutely beautiful hotel, wonderful staff ,great food entertainment every night honestly worth a visit. If I had to make a negative because we go 14 nights same entertainment one week from next yearly!!! But excellent acts !!!

Stayed here mid October, had a pool room which was just ok but the bathroom badly needs updating . our room was cleaned every day by Natasha who did a very good job. The food was ok but at times was just lukewarm, the staff in the main restaurant apart from the older lady Maria were very unattentive , we often almost finished our breakfast before being offered coffee or tea, even though at times there were as few as 5 or 6 people in there!!!, tried the Greek and Fish restaurants which were both ok. All the reception staff were very helpful and always took time to chat. The guys at the pool bar were great but they need more than one person serving at busy times as long queues formed which sometimes meant up to a 20 minute wait during the day. Mohammed at the lobby bar was very efficient and always remembered our drinks preference. The beach is not the best, full of shingle and a lot of the sunbeds need renewing. The evening entertainment at the pool bar was so so. The free shuttle bus into town is a nice touch as is the ability to use the facilities at the Akti Beach next door. Overall this hotel is ok if you just want peace and relaxation but we would only rate it a 3 star plus when compared to other 5 star resorts we have stayed at.

First of all big thank you to all the staff that looked after us, especially Vasiliki and Giannis who made our stay so memorable. We went with TUI on a couples holiday (early 20s) and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience if you’re wanting a holiday to relax. We arrived on the 6th October for 7 nights. One of our suitcases did get damaged on the flight but Tui was really good and provided £50 to replace the bag, which was easy to do as the TUI rep is often in the lobby of Akti Palace or Beach. The transfer to the hotel wasn’t long and it was nice to see the island and get excited for our holiday. Our room was very spacious and clean, with a bath and shower and a swim up pool shared with 3 other rooms on the bottom floor. The hotel is ultra-all inclusive therefore the minibar was free and restocked everyday as well as 3 themed restaurants and free watersports are all included. This only thing we would say is that some of the food in the main buffet wasn’t up to 5* level but was still good and we was very pleased. The hotel has a private area on the beach with cushioned sunbeds and umbrellas right outside the hotel. The hotel offers free transfers to and from kardamena throughout the day and one to and from kos town. You can also get a taxi to Kos Town which was around €40. We actually found it more convenient to hire the electric scooters which are parked outside the hotel near the beach to travel to kardamena, only took 10 minutes and is a very scenic ride. You have access to the two sister hotels so if the entertainment is not as good in your hotel, you can go to the others for their entertainment and also the buffet. There is also a Kids club for families with children however, it wasn’t open in October as it’s out of season. There is lots to do around the area, we did a 3 island boat cruise in Kos which was super cheap and defo worth it. (Barco De Pirata) If you need a sign to book this holiday, THIS IS IT!!

We returned a week ago from a lovely holiday. When we arrived Eleni greeted us on reception what a lovely lady never without a smile. Dionosis took us to our room on a buggy always chatted whenever we saw him around. We had a very nice sea view room which was cleaned every day. Plenty of choice in the buffet restaurant a special mention to Fatme for the omelettes and to Georgia and Ann. We visited the Asian and the Greek restaurants we enjoyed both meals couldn't eat all of the food far too much for us. Thank you to all of the staff in the restaurants and the two bars far too many to mention. The grounds were lovely and spotless. Lastly whenever you met anyone whether they were housekeeping, gardeners, maintenance or the mini bar man and the driver of the shuttle bus they always spoke and were always smiling.

Wonderful relaxing and well structured massage experience from the excellent therapist Maro! Please go and have one...its not to he missed! Lovely therapy room with good information. Facial excellent too! I have had 2 massages and 2 facials in my week here and it's been amazing...thank you Maro!
