Komandoo Island Resort & Spa

The most perfect place to unwind relax and recharge. It is a child free heaven on earth place. The rooms were spacious with big comfortable beds. Outside space was perfect with your own private bit of beach with your own sunbeds. Food was outstanding and loads of variety it was delicious. Snorkelling was outstanding and saw so much. If you want adult only peace and quiet this is the place for you.

Having stayed on many different Islands but with the same company we found that Komandoo was lovely. The staff in particular were excellent, very attentive helpful without being overwhelming. Mini in reception was very good as were our room man who's name I can't recall (the very energetic Maldives lead dancer/singer) and Asim our waiter. The Island was beautifully kept and the accommodation was good. The reef was very good but not quite as good as before the coral bleaching problems but it did seem to be recovering. The food was next level, only problem we couldn't eat it all and have had to spend weeks in the gym when we got home. A common theme with guests at dinner time was make sure you go and get a freshly baked naan from the tandoori man he was a star. The little extras like the small treats left in the rooms was a nice touch. Late afternoon cocktails in the swimming pool a must or as I sometimes preferred a pot of tea. The bar staff were very good at this. Thoroughly enjoyed our 10 days break and hope to return again soon. Might even bring our sons next time (not sure if Komandoo will be ready for that)

Toller Service, sehr aufmerksames Personal, top Essen, sehr überschaubare Anlage die super in Schuss ist. Man fühlt sich wirklich als Gast sehr wohl. Wir sind Taucher … ProDivers einfach nur top … sehr zuvorkommend, top Service in allen Bereichen und superschöne Tauchplätze!
