Will give it a 3.5 / 5. The place and room are extremely good and clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately could not stay in the lake view rooms nor the floating rooms due to maintenance . The food is limited with very little alternative options. Being next to the lake and having a floating restaurant was expecting more options in fish and crab. All in all a good experience away from the busy city life.

I recently stayed at the resort and had a truly wonderful experience. One of the highlights of our stay was the Tea Masterclass session held in the lawn area. It was such a refreshing and engaging activity! The team beautifully explained the different types of teas, their preparation methods, and even shared some interesting insights about each variety. It wasn’t just a regular tea session, it was an interactive and memorable experience that brought all the guests together. We’re extremely happy with the overall hospitality and the thoughtful touches added to make our stay special. Highly recommend participating in this session if you’re visiting the resort!

Great guide by Mr Lineesh, He gave very clearly details about the mangroves island. We had a great experience when a heavy storm took place and he reached us in safety place. Our guide made it a memorable fun ride. He was very helpful and even took us great photo for us. It is such a beautiful place must visit it. Such a pleasant vibe

North Indians, please don't book this Resort. From the time of check in till check out, the staff was non cooperative and whole intention was to extract money. Check In: We checked in late evening. NO welcome drink, No welcome gesture, No restaurant service for late check in. Staff was reluctant to take us to the room. Taxi Driver: Taxi driver was extracting Rs 800 extra and while reporting to the Resort staff, no support whatsoever was provided, so we were forced to pay Rs 800 extra. During the stay , we took a ride from city to Resort. Once again we paid agreed amount, still the driver asked for extra money. We reported again to Resort Manager and he did not help. They allowed the driver to come to reception. We proceed to our room and driver chased us till the room and finally we had to pay extra amount and driver thrashed my hand while taking the money and abused. The security did not try to stop him or report the matter to Resort manager or to local Police. There is no security for guests in the Resort. Billing: Hotel just offered 10% discount and not 25% discount being member of club Mahindra, later after 1hour of persuasion they cancelled one bill which was equal to 25% discount, I cleared the bill at night to avoid waste of time in early morning check out. In the morning while checking out, hotel staff asked me to pay for the cancelled bill again. The Taxi was booked twice from the Hotel and at the time of making payment they asked me to pay 3% extra. Taxi time was 6;30 am , however we got taxi at 7 after making phone call to driver, taxi details were not provided till the time of check out and we got late, though the driver was very nice.

We stayed here for two nights, luckly we got the Lake side view room, beautiful view of the astamudi lake Easy access to the close island activities with the boat Varieties of Dinner food, Special thanks to Mr.Akil corp.Manager Sure will comeback here in couple of months

Our family trip of this year was at club mahendra ashttamudi, it was an amazhing resort, the natural beauti and the behaviour of the staff was very nice, the restorant food is very tasty, at the first day we are spending time at the swimming poll and games area, and the second day we choose boating one of tge famous highlight of club mahindra ashttamudi, we choose speed boating to visit mundro island so we got an exilent boat driver other than he is a bust guid, we use to spend our vacation in lot of resorts but this was an amazing resourt,i woud like to mention about our boat driver Mr linesh, he was one of the best guide ever in my life. So i will defenitily reffer my friends and family about the resort club mahindra, ad the boat ride and espashali Mr linesh
