i recently stayed at the roland hotel emerald suite guest house for two days, and overall, it was a mixed experience. here's a breakdown of my stay: *room and facilities* the room at the emerald suite was spacious and comfortable, providing a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. the bathroom was clean and well-maintained, which i truly appreciated. the guest house itself is part of the roland hotel but is located in a separate building, a few houses away. while this separation offered a sense of privacy, it also made accessing the main hotel facilities less convenient. dining experience i decided to try lunch at the roland hotel, which was a bit of a letdown. the restaurant was surprisingly empty—almost as if it had been opened just for me because i was staying at the hotel. unfortunately, the food was average at best, and the service left much to be desired. for dinner and breakfast the next day, i opted to use zomato for delivery, which turned out to be a more satisfying choice. *service and hospitality* a highlight of my stay was the caretaker at the guest house, an elderly gentleman who was warm, helpful, and always attentive. his dedication to a comfortable stay made a significant difference and deserves special mention. *overall impression* while the emerald suite guest house has its charm with spacious rooms and a friendly caretaker, the dining experience and service at the hotel itself could use improvement. if you're looking for a cosy stay with the option to arrange meals separately, this guest house might still be a reasonable choice.

This is the most welcoming and good hotel. Wondering breakfast and staff. Food is good and the rooms are nicely maintay

Location is fine. I stayed in so called suite room - which is exorbitantly high priced. In the name of suite room a little bit bigger room is partitioned with curtains. That's all. There is no space to keep your luggage. You will have to open your luggage in sitting room side on the floor, because on the bed side of the room there isn't enough space to even walk or get down from the bed. Complementary breakfast is exactly same everyday - idli, sandwiches, eggs to order, cornflakes, packaged juice and cut papaya - watermelon. Average quality and average taste. In the name of amenities, there's nothing. You will have to ask for everything to be made available - like hangers in the wardrobe, spoon for stirring tea/coffee etc. People on reception suffer with mood swings - sometimes they are very polite and sometimes extremely rude.
