The overall experience was good. There were some issues with housekeeping which was annoying. Service and staff were very good. Mr Raj received us very well late at night. Service at the restaurant was exceptional.

We had a wonderful stay at Raajkutir. The property is peaceful and beautifully designed, it feels like a world apart from the bustle of Kolkata. The food was excellent, but what stood out most was the hospitality. Chef Ankur and Disha went out of their way to make us feel welcome, even surprising us with a cake for my birthday. Thoughtful touches like that make all the difference.

A perfect venue for intimate family events and a weekend luxurious getaway with design and decor that promises amazing Insta-worthy moments to keep. East India room, their main restaurant, offers a delectable Bengali fine dine and Anglo Indian fare. Unwind at the Swig Bar and be ready to be dazzled by it's interiors. The evening Aarti at 6pm followed by performance of local Bengal artists ***** with complimentary serving of Chai and Jhal Muri in the main courtyard of the property is not be missed. You can also relax and pamper yourself at the Jiva Spa or choose to work out in the well appointed gym and then take a quick dip in the swimming pool. Special thanks to Mohan Thapa, Raj Ghosh, Sayanti Ghosh from front office who were ever so accommodative to ensure we had adjacent rooms with a great view of the courtyard and arranging a lovely birthday cake for my mother's 73rd Birthday. Highly recommend thr deluxe rooms on the first floor of the main block. Lastly, Chef Ankur Halder and his team were just awesome. Thanks to his thoughtful recommendations the culinary experience went a couple of notches higher. Overall Raajkutir is quite a unique and a boutique 5star property that won't disappoint you. If Rajasthan has it's Havelis, Bengal has to offer it's Zamindari mansions. Raaj Kutir ticks all the boxes and in the right places. Highly recommend a visit.
