マーケットや海に近く、良い立地でした。
今回はマスクフェスティバルの為に訪れたのですが、宿から会場までは徒歩で歩くと30分、車で10分程の距離でした。
レセプションのスタッフは優しくフレンドリーな方々でしたが、田舎なことを加味すると仕方がないですが、お値段とは見合わない清潔感でした...。
また、理由はわからないのですがなぜか二重請求になりかけていたので少し困りました。ただ、トリップドットコムのサポートセンターの方のお助けにより問題無く済んだので良かったです。

Tavurvur, an active volcano on Rabaul erupted in 1994, devastating much of the town. It is possible that the recurrence of this event is the only thing which could improve this nasty little hotel - clearly the staff, friendly and helpful to a tee, are not to blame but whoever owns the place needs to start spending a few kina on essentials like cleaning, and cleaning, and maybe some additional cleaning. Bedsheets with suspicious & fresh stains, towels looking like they had already been used to wipe the bathroom floor, gecko droppings on most horizontal surfaces & some vertical ones. Clean the place, and maybe people will stay & write nice reviews.

It was adequate for a stay but definitely a budget accommodation.

I enjoyed my stay. My room was alway clean and towels change daily. My room was spacious with air conditioned. Free breakfast was exceptional. And it's was the cheapest in town.

Can get to Rabaul on public bus, free shuttle from airport, convenient, near market.actually has free wifi for my stay.
Lose power pretty often, but it is not the hotel's fault. Aircon and ceiling fan are fine.
Get a room away from the loud generator.
