"My wife and I stayed at Yao Bada Badoo for 6 nights and absolutely loved it. Our room was classy and beautifully appointed with high ceilings and modern fittings. The bathroom was a standout and the bed was so comfortable it was hard to get out of. Our host Stacey and her staff went above and beyond in making our stay truly fantastic. The resorts location and proximity to beaches, activities, dining and the main pier is perfect. If you're looking for your oasis, this is it!! "

Koyao Island Resort

"Koh Yao Noi is an island situated about 30-40 minutes away via speedboat from the eastern pier along Phuket, thus getting there might take some time. However, it was totally worth it. The views and vibes were nothing we have ever seen before, the villa was also pretty romantic for couples. Highly recommended if you are in the area!"

Jaiyen Eco Resort

"We stayed at this hotel with our children. We originally planned to stay for three nights, but ended up staying only two because the hotel was completely inconvenient. The food was terrible. We were charged for a bottle of wine that we didn't drink. The staff even threatened us, saying they wouldn't call us a taxi if we didn't pay the bills. I'll skip over some minor details: there were no ashtrays on the balcony. The breakfast was terrible. Even a simple Pad Thai wasn't good enough. The balcony wasn't cleaned. The electricity went out for two hours the night before, with no backup generator. In short, this place shouldn't be called a hotel, but rather a scam."

Laguna Villas Boutique Hotel

"Meillä oli täällä 4 yötä ja nautimme yleisesti villasta ja sijaintista. Villat olivat hyvin tilavia sisällä, kuten keittiö ja istuintila, kaksoissuihku kylpyhuone, koristeltu thai taide ja oli pieni patio 2 makuuhuonetta ja parannus. Huoneissa on vain yksi yksityis, ulkosuihku. Löysimme pari bugs ja pieniä lizards huoneessamme- mutta löysimme tämän sitoutuu tapahtumaan sen isot lasi ovet ja ulko-ulko-tyyli. Saamme joskus vahvan, hajuhajuisen hajun ulkona/patio- mutta huomasin, että tämä tapahtui muilla osilla saarella. Uima-altaat jaettiin, puhdas, suuri ja syvä aurinkohuoneita saatavilla ympäröimällä paljon vihreitä puut/kasvit/srubit/kukat. Näytti siltä, että täällä on enemmän perheitä ja pieniä lapsia kuin odotimme. Lähellä useita ravintoloita ja rantaa kadulla (30 sekunnin kävely), kaunis auringonnousu. Hotelli on 1-3km kaukana pier, kauppoja, 7/11 ja ATM- joten sinun on todennäköisesti tarvittava taksi- tai moottoripyörävuokraus. Sisältynyt aamiainen oli OK- ei mieluummin. Yleensä mukava oleskelu, mutta eri kuin odotimme."

"Jos haluat todella taikakokemuksen, jää Hornbill Tented Villa yksityisen uima-allas. Koyao Island Resortin henkilöstö on hämmästyttävä, ja palvelu on todella yläpuolella. Näkymät yksityisen uima-allas ovat ehdottomasti hämmästyttävää, ja aamiainen kauniisti palveli jokainen yksityiskohta mielestäni oli unohtumaton. Uima-allas uima-allas oli varmasti korostettu. Emme nähneet mitään muuta saarella, joka jopa tuli lähelle. Sijainti on fantastinen!"

"We were really looking forward to our stay here, but unfortunately, nothing matched our expectations or the photos shown at the time of booking. Instead of a cozy wooden bungalow with a jungle view, we were given a room in a concrete building with thin wooden partitions that had gaps, making it impossible not to hear every sound and conversation from the neighboring rooms. The room itself was a nightmare: spiders and other insects everywhere, mattresses so worn out that you could feel every spring, and bed linen that did not seem fresh at all. The bathroom was missing basic essentials like soap and toilet paper, while black mold covered parts of the walls. A broken bathroom shelf was hanging crookedly, and the shower only had cold water, with half of it leaking straight from the hose instead of coming out of the showerhead. After a sleepless night, we decided to leave. The owner initially assured us that we would be refunded for the remaining nights but told us to arrange it through ***********. However, Booking only refunded one night, stating that the refund was at the discretion of the owner. When we confronted him again, he suddenly barely spoke English and kept repeating the same sentence, making any further discussion impossible. Other guests also had non-functioning toilets, which reinforced our impression that this place deliberately takes advantage of backpackers. Just a short distance away, we found a far better accommodation for only 4–5 Euros more per night. Conclusion: Absolutely not recommended!"

Koh Yao Yai Sea Breeze House

"Fabulous small guest house with bar and restaurant. Immaculately kept rooms with sea views. Spotlessly clean with good shower and tv. Really lovely, kind, helpful lady owner who cannot do enough for you. Really excellent value for money in a stunningly beautiful and unspoilt location. Would highly recommend if in need of peace and quiet!"

Sabai Corner Bungalows

"Let me start by saying that we took a two-week trip to Thailand and stayed in other bungalows nestled in the forest. We weren't expecting the comforts of a five-star hotel, but at least we were expecting an enclosed accommodation where we could rest at night in the middle of a forest full of animals. Unfortunately, this wasn't the case. It should be noted that these aren't bungalows, but huts open on all sides, allowing insects and animals to enter from anywhere. The bed was surrounded by a mosquito net, but it had holes in some places: after two minutes, the bed was covered in mosquitoes. The accommodation was at the top of the mountain (inconvenient to reach and without lighting). The bathroom was outside the room, downstairs. We didn't feel at all comfortable, so we asked to change rooms, but they were all occupied. We then decided to look for another accommodation, which isn't easy on such a small island where it's already pitch black by 6 p.m. The hotel offered no help, let alone a refund, zero, even though we had paid for two nights' stay. They called us a taxi and we left. The structure and treatment were terrible."
