Ota taksi lentokentältä Bang Rongin laiturille ja osta sitten lauttalippu Changdaon laiturille hintaan 300 bahtia per henkilö. Tällä hetkellä Big Changdaolle ja Little Changdaolle on erilliset pikaveneet. Näytä hotellitilauksesi henkilökunnalle, jotta et saa väärää paikkaa. Kadun toisella puolella on lähikauppa, josta saa juomia, välipaloja ja lomatarvikkeita. Ravintola on kohtuuhintainen, jotkut ruoat jopa halvempia kuin suuremmilla rannoilla. "PLUSSAT: Hotellissa on tilava uima-allas, suora pääsy rannalle ja houkutteleva aamiaisbuffet. Myös auringonlaskut ovat upeita. Huoneet ovat tilavia, puhtaita ja kylpyhuoneet erityisen mukavia. Lisäksi suurin osa henkilökunnasta on erittäin ystävällistä ja avuliasta. MIINUKSET: Valitettavasti rannalla ei ole lainkaan aurinkotuoleja (he tarjoavat vain säkkituoleja baarin lähellä), ja ne muutamat, joista on rantanäköala, varataan aikaisin aamulla vieraiden toimesta, jotka usein eivät saavu paikalle ennen keskipäivää. Suurin osa hotellin vieraista on saksankielisiä lomailijoita. Wi-Fi on epäluotettava ja toimii usein hitaasti tai ei ollenkaan. All of the staff were extremely hospitable with a massive shout out to our guest experience manager Lily who was kind, responsive and went above and beyond. "We stayed here for three nights in a Honeymoon Villa. It’s most definitely a 3*+ place and not 4*. The room was ok, and as others have said a few more power outlets wouldn’t go amiss. The bed was ok for a few hours and after that becomes a bit of a torture device. The pool is ok, but by modern standard a bit of an uninspired block. All ‘ok’ rather than ‘wow’. The main issue with the place though is the restaurant, it really is properly terrible. If you are on a package including evening meal then that gets you the set menu, which is the same every day. And that menu is a choice of one thing - the same unchanging thing every day. You will have the same thing day after day unless you then pay for something else. And God help you if you are vegetarian as then the food options then really are awful. Technically the restaurant is run separately to the hotel as you pay them separately, but to all intents if you are a guest it is the hotel’s restaurant, in the hotel grounds, where you have breakfast, etc. If you are going here, it’s ok, but think of it as a 3* and you’ll be pleased, but not as a 4*. And do not eat here, rent a scooter and there are really good restaurants 5-10 minutes away to the right at the top of the road, or about 25 minutes away to the left. On the subject of the scooters, the hotel charges 700 baht a day for them, but walk five minutes to the top of the road and the place up there is 250 baht for the day. The hotel also gets very finger-waggy about ‘if you have a puncture you pay for recovery and for the new tyre’, but given the state of the roads a puncture is hardly the fault of the rider and is an inevitability at some point for some poor rider. Seems excessively harsh."

Sin is a kind and helpful host with a warm personality and a good sense of humour, which makes the stay even more enjoyable. The traditional Thai breakfast is delicious, as well as the fruits, especially the fresh mango. There is also a large 15m infinity pool with a beautiful view, which is a great place to relax and take in the surroundings. Overall, a calm and well-kept luxurious place, ideal if you are looking to disconnect and enjoy nature."

The place is simply beautiful — the rooms are clean, comfortable, and designed in a “close-to-nature” style, featuring a semi-open sky shower and wooden décor throughout. The resort’s restaurant was the best we experienced during our entire stay in Thailand. The staff at the pool, restaurant, and reception were all wonderful, kind, and welcoming. The beach is stunning, sandy, and peaceful, with the added bonus of complimentary kayaks for free exploration. The pool overlooking the shore is lovely and relaxing. In short — pure paradise and joy. I couldn’t have asked for a better choice for our family holiday."

But, surprisingly, after staying at Laguna Villas Boutique Hotel, I am genuinely at a loss for words to describe how wonderful our experience was. From the moment we arrived, the entire team welcomed us with such warmth and personally took the utmost care of us throughout our stay. There isn't one particular person to mention—the credit truly belongs to the whole team. Our 3-year-old granddaughter was absolutely delighted when the staff remembered her favourite breakfast every morning—a boiled egg with bread and butter. It was such a small gesture, but for us, it meant so much. ❤️ The villas were exceptionally well equipped. In fact, there were so many thoughtful facilities and comforts that it is difficult to describe them all. Everything was beautifully maintained, comfortable and spotlessly clean. And then there was the beach—possibly one of the cleanest beaches we have ever experienced. Just about 30 metres from the property, with beautiful canopy-style seating right at the edge of the sea, it was simply wonderful. We did have lunch and dinner at a few beachfront restaurants during our stay, but honestly, the quality of food at Laguna Villas surpassed many of them. But perhaps the most touching moment came after our very first night. My son and daughter looked at me and said: “Why, Dad? Why didn’t you plan a longer stay here? We don’t want to leave so soon!” That, for me, says everything. And then came the checkout. As we were leaving, the entire team came out to say goodbye. We were genuinely emotional, with tears in our eyes, wishing only that we had planned a longer stay. Some hotels give you a room. Some give you a beautiful holiday. Laguna Villas gave us memories, warmth and a feeling of being genuinely cared for. To the entire team at Laguna Villas Boutique Hotel—thank you from the bottom of our hearts. ❤️ We came as guests, but left feeling like we were saying goodbye to people we had known for much longer.
