"How lucky were we that our very first stop in India was this beautiful hotel! First of all, the staff are absolutely incredible. Nothing is too much for them and they will do anything to make your stay perfect. Our room was stunning with views over the water and just so incredibly peaceful. It caters for all too - fabulous bathroom with all the facilities you could want, fresh fruit plate on arrival and a beautiful balcony to take in the scenery. Breakfast was plentiful and was amazing to try out some new tastes early in the morning. The samba was great, the fruit juice so delicious and the tea is top notch! It's about a 5 min tuk tuk drive from Fort Kochi and the famous Chinese fishing nets. Thanks to all the wonderful staff for making our stay such a treat."

"Just ended a pleasant 4-day stay at The Renai. I booked a mini suite but, due to a lock malfunction, I was moved to a larger suite, which was a lovely and unexpected upgrade. The rooms, like the hotel overall, was clean, well maintained and modern. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom functional, clean and adequately stocked with the necessities. Wifi worked well most of the time, but the connection was spotty a couple of times. The buffet breakfast covered a wide range of diets and was sumptuous to get the day going. The buffet lunch was also extensive. Koffee Junction (adjacent to and owned by the hotel) was a nice place for a relaxed meeting with friends. Staff members were uniformly friendly without being intrusive or obsequious. Hotel location was conveniently close to a Metro station and only a short drive from Amrita Hospital and shopping areas. Won't hesitate to stay at The Renai should I return to Kochi."
