Breeze Backwater Homes

Beautiful and peaceful place, situated right on the lake. We enjoyed watching sunset from the garden. Room and bathroom are spacious, modern, very clean and comfortable. We wil ldefinitely stay again if we come back to Allapuzha. Thank you for your hospitality!

Best location for authentic Backwater exploration. Also mid way between Alleppey and Cochin if you wish to get bus or train or taxi there. But due to the peaceful, idyllic setting we didn’t venture far. The breakfast was perfect. Supper so tasty and cheap. Hosts couldn’t do enough for us. I haven’t felt this relaxed for years. They even sourced some beer so we didn’t have to go out. Beer in Kerala is not readily available.

The resort, while serene, offers limited activities, and its distance from the main attractions of Alleppey might be a consideration for future guests. Exploring options to enhance on-site activities or facilitating easy access to nearby attractions could significantly elevate the overall guest experience. One notable area for improvement was the limited food menu at the resort. A more diverse culinary selection could enhance the dining experience for guests seeking a variety of options. Despite these considerations, it is important to acknowledge the positive aspects, such as the attentive service from the staff. Their commitment to ensuring a comfortable stay did not go unnoticed. In conclusion, while our stay was average, we believe that with a few adjustments, the resort has the potential to provide an even more enriching experience for its guests. We appreciate the staff's dedication and look forward to potential enhancements that may further elevate the overall guest satisfaction.

This homestay is in a remote, quiet and peaceful part of the backwaters. If you’re looking for calm and peace then this is the place to come to. The people running the place are great! They are very humble and hospitable, will prepare delicious food for you and help you with anything you need. I went on a boat trip early morning and still remember the boat gliding over the glittering mirror like water through the small stream surrounded by coconut trees and an impressive variety of birds. Look out for the beautiful kingfisher bird. I also recommend visiting the nearby harbour early morning where you can observe the fishermen returning with their catch of the day. Overall, it has been very pleasant to stay here!
