Sunstar Hotel Klosters

We had a really good holiday staying at Sunstar Hotel Klosters Switzerland. I know it was their low season but this must rate as one of the quietest hotels we have ever stayed in, not even a noise from closing doors. Our room was very well furnished, beautifully clean and had a balcony that looked out along the valley. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was excellent and we had good choice at breakfast. As we were on a half board stay we chose our evening meal at breakfast from a varied menu. The food was always beautifully cooked and presented. The hotel is a convienient short walk from the station so we were able to use the Davos/Klosters Card which gave us free local rail travel and discounted cableway travel, which certainly enhanced our holiday. In summary, yes we would certainly return and plan to do so again soon.

Essen war TipTop! Tolle Kombination aus alt und neu im ganzen Hotel, wirklich sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Leider finde ich CHF 40 pro Person für ein Steinpilzfondue recht teuer und seinen Preis nicht wert, da das Fondue etwas lasch ist und wir nachwürzen mussten. Wein war dafür hervorragend und super Bedienung obwohl sie einen etwas nervösen/gestressten Eindruck gemacht hat

Wir haben das Hotel Sunstar in Klosters als Organisator einer geführten Abend/Nachtwanderung kennengelernt. Obschon ohne Übernachtung konnten wir uns bei der Begrüssung, inkl Drink, während der Wanderung mit grosszügiger und erstklassiger Verpflegung, bis zum Schluss von der gelebten Gastfreundschaft und Herzlichkeit sowohl vom Direktions-Paar wie auch den anderen Angestellten überzeugen. Die stilvoll gestaltete Launch lädt zum Verweilen ein. Ein Hotel, dass wir definitiv auf dem Radar behalten und bei Möglichkeit sehr gerne berücksichtigen werden. Man fühlt sich einfach wohl und willkommen. Danke!

We have visited many resorts and stayed in many hotels in Switzerland. The Sunstar in Klosters has taken the top position in our favourites list. I have never felt so calm and relaxed on a holiday before. I absolutely love the peaceful location and beautiful views. The hotel feels like a hidden gem in July, and Klosters Dorf for me, is the best sort of quiet Swiss village. The efficiency and convenience of public transport just a few minutes walk from the hotel, alongside tradition farm buildings and chalet style houses with beautiful window boxes. If you want to get away from it all, this is the place and the time of year for you. The hotel staff are wonderful. They are always smiling, extremely helpful and skilfully attentive. The breakfasts and evening meals were delicious, and the kitchen was extremely accommodating and accurate with any requests we made. Luckily for us, we were able to enjoy breakfast and dinner outside on the terrace on a number of beautifully sunny days. We adored the peace and quiet of the garden and the swimming pool too. We had a beautiful room with a large balcony facing the mountains. There was great attention to detail paid in the cleaning of the room. The bathroom was extremely stylish, modern, and immaculately presented. We greatly appreciated the mini bar and coffee machine too. A sincere thank you to the wonderful reception and restaurant staff, and everyone behind the scenes, for giving us such a special and memorable holiday.

Das Sunstar Klosters überzeugt in vielerlei Hinsicht: gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis, leckere und regionale Küche, sehr gutes Frühstücksbuffet, gemütlich/komfortable eingerichtete Zimmer, kleiner aber feiner Spabereich mit Dampfbad, Sauna & co, freundliches Personal und zuvorkommende Gastgeber. Sowohl im Winter (Ski) wie auch im Sommer (Wandern/E-Bike) das Hotel im Prätigau. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
