Maingate Florida Hotel arvostelua

This was a terrible experience. The pictures shown online are nothing like the actual rooms. We were with another family and their room was also gross. Dirt on the bathroom door. We arrived after midnight from a late flight and light switch in the room didn’t turn on and the lamps were unplugged and some missing lightbulbs. I had to make my way to the bathroom to get any light and then use my phone flashlight to find the outlets to plug in the lamps. The curtains weren’t all the way attached and wouldn’t close all the way. The walls and borders were filthy. There was a small bug on one of the beds. The shower still had hair in it. There were fingerprint smudges all over the towel rack. The light fixtures were dusty. I wouldn’t let my daughter take off her shoes until she got into bed. If it hadn’t been midnight I would have checked out immediately. We waited until the morning and they gave us our money back for the next 2 nights without asking any questions, it was like they knew. While we were waiting on a refund they got another call and we overheard the same conversation. One night, checked out early, refund with no questions asked. We went down the road about 3 minutes and found a decent hotel for just a little bit more money and were much happier. Save yourself the trouble. Don’t book here.

Bad hotel front desk person very grud rooms very dirty, thrash everywhere, bad smells poor hot breakfast and my 2 days with out power for cuple hours I NOT Recommend it. Over charge fees, the washer and dryer don't work properly. Don't waste your time and money on this hotel.

This hotel is a SCAM. The front desk would lie with a straight face. I booked a night on October 19th and was not sure that I would be able to make it to the hotel for check-in by 9 PM. So I called the hotel at 407-507-1892 at 3 PM Eastern to ask and they told late check-in beyond 9 PM is not possible and advised me to cancel the booking and told me that they wouldn't charge me. I told them I would confirm by 7 PM. I called then back again at 6:30 pm to tell that I am not going to make it and would cancel. They repeated they wouldn't charge anything for the booking. I initiated refund process with my booking agency United and over the course of next few days United tried reaching out to them and got no response. I myself tried the same number 407-507-1892 and nobody picks up the phone now. I suspect the front desk guy is either the owner or part of management and this is a scheme they are practicing to rob people of their money. Please STAY AWAY from this scam.
