Pinewood Beach Resort & Spa

My wife and I have spent six wonderful nights at this resort. We enjoyed it immensely, the staff and management were very friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble for them. The food was amazing, great choice and a varied menu. Each evening dinner is taken at different venues, at the restaurant, by the pool and beside the beach. All beautifully prepared and presented. There is a decent sized pool with swim up bar, where we enjoyed the milk shakes! Activities are low key. Aqua aerobics which we enjoyed, and volleyball in the afternoons. We did the village tour, and also the Forest and Nature walk which were both very good. We also enjoyed walking along the beach, in the morning and afternoon, and were not bothered at all by any “beach boys “. All in all a tremendous resort, and we would not hesitate to visit again. Wir haben uns für dieses Hotel entschieden, weil wir Ruhe suchten und die haben wir gefunden! Ein Traumhotel in einer traumhaft schönen Gartenanlage. Es hat uns alles gefallen. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön eingerichtet und es wurde ordentlich geputzt. Der Strand ist sehr exklusiv mit einer tollen Beachbar, wo man auch Mittag essen kann. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und achtet darauf, dass es den Gästen an nichts fehlt. Die Abendessen finden abwechselnd im Hauptrestaurant, am Pool oder Strand statt. Das Essen war auch immer hervorragend! Dass bei all inklusive nicht mal die halbe Getränkekarte inklusive ist, fanden wir nicht ganz so toll. Der Manager meinte bei der Ankunft es wären 90%. Ich hatte während unseres Aufenthaltes meinen 50. Geburtstag. Dazu gab es vom Hotel keine Reaktion. Das fand ich ein bisschen schade. In allen Hotels und Lodges wo wir während unserer Safari übernachteten, wurde für die Geburtstagskinder das "Jambo" Lied gesungen. Im Pinewood werden Geburtstage komplett ignoriert. Wir können dieses Hotel auf alle Fälle weiterempfehlen! Eine tolle Location mit tollem Personal!

Wir waren 3 Wochen in diesem kleinen gemütlichen Hotel. Ich habe mir viele Hotels im Internet angesehen und bin froh, dass ich auf mein Bauchgefühl gehört habe und dieses Hotel gebucht habe. Das Hotel liegt etwas abseits, aber wir wollten keinen Trubel ,sondern Ruhe. Das Hotel ist mit so viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet, man spürt direkt, dass es keine große Hotelgruppe ist. Die Hoteleigentümer sind meistens vor Ort. Das gesamte Personal ist unglaublich freundlich,zuvorkommend und immer gut gelaunt. Ich möchte mich gerne noch einmal bei Fred und Safari für die tolle Betreuung bedanken. Wir waren 3 Tage auf Safari,als wir zurück kamen, haben wir auf Anfrage wieder das gleiche Zimmer bekommen, darüber haben wir uns sehr gefreut. Alle Mitarbeiter bemühen sich stets die Gäste zufrieden zu stellen. Ob Frühstück, Mittag oder Abendessen, schmeckte alles gigantisch und war sehr abwechslungsreich. Ich kann dieses kleine Hotel inmitten der wunderschönen grünen Oase nur weiter empfehlen.

A very relaxing resort hotel in which to chill after a hectic safari. The welcome and treatment by staff was exceptionally friendly. Room was spotless although shower could do with an upgrade. Food was plentiful, well presented and delicious. All in all a top class comfortable hotel for a week's stay.

Ein schönes Hotel mit eigenem Palmenstrand. Wirklich sehr freundliches Personal. Zum wohlfühlen! Mehrere Bars und Restaurants. Abwechslungsreiche Küche an den Abenden. Sehr gepflegte Anlage mit (eher kleiner) Parkanlage um die Bungalows.

I love the feel and atmosphere of this place. Personal touches are everywhere as soon as you enter! A gorgeous oasis, and beach - everything we needed and more... large, clean, comfortable rooms and beds, air-conditioning, great Wi-Fi connectivity...plus a delicious and huge choice of food to suit my dietary requirements. We didn't need to leave, enjoying a variety of dining-in options and locations on site. Well trained, helpful staff work as a team and made me feel welcome and attended to. Peaceful and quiet, it was a great getaway for adults like my sister and I, who stayed for several days. Bespoke built, and lived in by the owners, this personally curated resort is founded on sustainable principles before it was even a thing! I met the owners and manager who care for the place like it's their home and who satisfied my curious mind. I would definitely come back here.
