Premier Inn Dudley (Kingswinford)

I stay in Premier Inn across the UK due to work and it can be 2 or 3 hotels per week and I rate service very highly generally in these hotels for the money. But this one today I must have got someone on a bad day as from checking in the woman was rude, to 5 mins later looking for a drink with no one to be seen, the same. Lady sees me walking to the bar and rather than ask me would I like anything I was blanked & since its nice and sunny 27c out there service with a smile would have been great but I eventually asked for a drink, to be then told doesn't open till 6 well that's fine but no need to be rude about it not my fault your different to most of your other hotel that during this weather would be more than happy to service drinks tk make extra money but clearly not this one

I would not be staying here again. This was the third year for my young family, I never had a problem before. But unfortunately this time we were given a very dated poor room, which the toilet blocked in the middle of the night. We arrived at 3pm to check in and went to go sit in the lounge area to be advised we can't use this till 6pm! So we were stuck in our room between the hours of 3-6! The lift was out of service which we were warned about which is fine, but on arrival I was surprised to be allocated the top floor with to young children when on booking you advise of ages. On a whole this really ruined oulr weekend and now I've been told by premier inn I'm unable to get a refund because i didnt escalate at the time. It's really disappointing as a member of public to be even putim this poor situation and basically being told I have to complain to make things right, why should I be put in such an anxiety and stressful hightened position with a young family, my other family paid the same and got a lovely room upto date room. it's a real shame and im sad with the response from premier inn. The food was excellent as always and the restaurant staff lovely.

Rooms were dirty and corridor was a mess. Looked as though the lift was under service and the corridors were filthy. Staff were warm and welcoming. Other customers though didn't have a care for other customers they were rood and in the room next to me the TV was so loud all night i didn't sleep at all will not be returning.

Checked in earlier all ok. Put luggage in my room then left. Got back late so straight into bed. In the morning I noticed blood stains on the sheets. Reception unable to do anything I need to contact head office. Went into breakfast waited over 10 minutes and nobody came out to serve me.

We were forced to find somewhere late in the day, as the accomodation we had booked was totally unacceptable and not anything like the advert. Thankfully, we found this Premier Inn and booked it immediately. It was an hours drive from Stoke-on-Trent but when we arrived we were so relieved. We had to ask ourselves why we didn't book a Premier Inn in the first place as they are always good quality and generally affordable. Next time we will look for a Premier Inn first! The lady, Debbie could hardly have been more helpful or supportive. She recommended a local Chinese takeaway (whi h was delicious, and came in about 10-15 minutes!), and a garage just a minute from the hotel where I bought a nice bottle of wine to go with our food. It's nice and quiet here and very comfortable. Everything was to a good standard so we are very happy to recommended this as a place to stay. Thank ypu Debbie, and thanks Premier Inns!
