Wingate by Wyndham Kings Bay Naval Base / I-95

Never got to stay here. Was looking for somewhere to rest during travel, but booked wrong location--Trip.com and Sleep Inn kept my money even though I never stayed there. No refund and no offer of compromise. I will never use Trip.com and/or Sleep Inn in the future.

The room had a musty moly smell and everything including the sheets felt damp. We needed to keep the bathroom light/fan on the entire time to get the room to have a more tolerable smell. The staff was unprofessional upon check in and check out.

Coming into this very nice lobby, there was a musty smell. I wanted to leave immediately, but the lobby decor was new. I thought maybe the room would not have this smell but it did. I stayed because I didn’t want to upset my husband. He was fine with it. I figured - one night , I’ll deal. The decor was nice. The bathroom was great. Nice towels! but I couldn’t rinse my hair in the low pressure shower. The maid had done a terrible job vacuuming the rug. The air conditioner was dirty. I scrubbed lots of black dirt out of the vents.

Clean friendly. Quiet nice stay great location to walk to all the coffee stores Dunkin& Starbucks restaurants, & the super market. Quiet & very safe at night. I'd recommend it to friends for their stay cation. I live locally. Stayed while work was done on my home.

FATASTIC, huge soft towels, new new new linens, spotless clean, beautifully remoldeld room. Its a Gem 5 * mineral/salt pool. Recommending to family & friends to stay while visiting. Central to all restaurants, can walk to them. Nice amenities. Perfect hot breakfast included!

Great!! I have never written a review on a hotel, but this place deserves one! First off, they have made renovations, brand new bathrooms, fixtures, furnishings, brand new bedding all done very well, but what was so nice is the staff. They were very pleasant, helpful & busy, working, cleaning & caring about their guests!! And their breakfast was pretty good included in the price. I have marked it as a place I’d like to stay at again!

Wrong hotel. It is listed as a Wyndham but wyndham purchased it from Sleep Inn just 3 months ago. It remains a Sleep Inn but with Windham prices. The checkin lady said the only thing changed are the linens. I wonder which hotal the 'reviews' are reviewing.

I stopped in town on a business trip and I found this hotel located off the highway and decided to give it a try. First mistake. There were sketchy individuals walking around the parking lot and what looked like drug deals going on. Rooms were not cleaned and staff just not what you expect from a Wyndham brand hotel

I have to give a shout out to this establishment and its personnel. To make a long story short, by my own errors I had messed up our accommodations on the Navy Base. The staff at the Navy hotel contacted the staff at the Wingate by Wyndham and explained our situation. The folks at Wingate went out of their way to help us out. They were extremely friendly and accommodating. They turned what was about to be a self-inflicted crisis into a fine night and following morning. The hotel itself was clean and 100% fine. I would definitely stay there again if our travels take us this way. It also has a convenient location to eateries, gas stations, and the interstate.
