The Beeches B&B

The warmest of welcomes awaits you at the Beeches B&B. Margaretta and Phil genuinely want to make your stay as comfortable as possible and really go the extra mile to do this. They really have thought of everything in terms of comfort and it is definitely a home from home setting. The Breakfast is delightful, with everything you could ask for. The food is local, plentiful and beautifully cooked. We couldn’t have booked a better place to stay - not just in Kilmaurs but anywhere in the country!

Just came away this morning from a one night stay. Beeches is a fantastic little find. The room was great value and comfortable. Every area including the bathroom was spotless. The hosts are extremely friendly. Breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts we’ve ever had. We’ll definitely be back!

We stayed for 5 nights whilst visiting family and taking the opportunity to see some of the lovely countryside. The Beeches is a great place to stay with good access to many places. Margaretta and Phil are fantastic hosts who can't do enough for you. Also a special mention to Debbie who helped with breakfast, they were all so friendly. The room was very clean and bed very comfortable. We had room 3 which had the private external bathroom and separate lounge area if we wanted to use it. Bathrobes and slippers supplied along with with milk, juice, water, always topped up along with teas and coffee. Plenty of choice for breakfast which again was lovely. We would definately recommend staying at The Beeches as you couldn't fault anything,

Lovely welcome from Marguerite who help us with our luggage before showing us to our modern clean room which had all the facilities ranging from kettle with quality beverages and a bowl of sweeties to a clean modern shower room and free wifi. The house is surrounded by glorious Ayrshire farming countryside and a view over the horizon to Arran on a clear day. The property is NOT in Kilmarnock but in the pretty village of Kilmaurs which has a bakery a couple of independent shops and some gastropubs. The bedroom was comfortable and peaceful. There was free parking outside on the drive which was safe. The breakfast was epic with homemade granola and fruit compote on offer with a selection of local fresh yoghurts and a platter of fruits and cereals. This was followed by an epic cooked breakfast with quality ingredients cooked to perfection to suit all dietary requirements if needs be. The tea and coffee were excellent and the fresh orange juice refreshing. All cooked by Marguerite herself and her husband was a gracious host. The comfortable living room had an array of chocolate biscuits and snacks should you have an attack of the midnight munchies. A very comfortable stay indeed with excellent service to match.

Lovely B&B in a quiet country location at Mauchline outside Kilmarnock. Modern house surrounded by peaceful countryside surrounded by farmland with views over to Arran on the horizon. The room was comfortable and clean with all amenities and free wifi available. The breakfast was epic with a fabulous selection of a platter of fresh fruits,yoghurt,homemade fruit compote and granola followed by a selection of cooked breakfasts for every type of diet. In the room was a fridge stocked with complimentary fruit juice. A kettle with good quality teas and coffees was available as was a selection of sweeties plus more in the living room area for the attack of any Midnight Munchies. The hosts were lovely and helpful and it was a great nights stay.
