We stayed one night B&B and we had an evening meal but paid extra for the meal. The hotel is really fabulous. Not in a typical kinda way, but it’s very quirky and different but has all the luxury you would expect from a lake house. We loved Toms bar, we loved that people had their dogs (even large dogs) with them and we loved how relaxed everyone seemed, even the staff. Nobody was dressed in suits or any of that but still everyone looked professional and friendly and welcoming. The grounds of this hotel are amazing, really well kept and plenty of walks and beautiful scenery around every corner. The breakfast was excellent and truly enjoyable when you can order and sit down for breakfast instead of a buffet. Dinner wasn’t as good as I would have hoped. The menu wasn’t what we expected and the food was served great and looked very well presented but it just wasn’t to our liking. The room was fab, different but brilliant. We loved the addition of a record player and Bluetooth speaker and the record we got in our room was Madonna…. My absolute favourite so that was a big hit for me. The bed was comfortable and large. Coffee machine was good and plenty of sockets and amenities apart from a shoe horn! My BF always needs a shoe horn for his “going out” shoes. The hair straightener was a great addition, I don’t know why every hotel doesn’t provide one. Over all, we had a great stay and we have been telling everyone to try it for themselves. We will definitely be back and hopefully we’ll have a longer stay next time.

I recently stayed at Glasson Lakehouse for a hen party, and while the hotel itself was outstanding, the service was a major letdown. Theservice did not match the quality of the hotel. The staff seemed young and inexperienced, struggling with basic tasks and providing slow, disorganised service. The most frustrating issue was being accused three times of not paying, each time a mistake on their part, but still incredibly annoying and embarrassing. That being said, Tania was absolutely amazing. She was one of the few staff members who went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. Her professionalism and kindness truly stood out and made a difference in our stay.

Enjoyable Enjoyable for one night solo getaway. Food was good. Would have liked more facilities in the spa as I was by myself.
