The Gleneagle Hotel & Apartments arvostelua

From our arrival to our departure of our 1 nights stay at the gleneagle hotel we cannot fault it . Check in was busy which one has to expect in such a busy tourist area . Hotel room was lovely and clean. Comfortable bed . Fantastic entertainment in the ballroom and in the Inec . Our breakfast on the following morning was great , great variety on the menu . We will definitely be staying here again . We will be highly recommending this hotel

Both restaurants closed only bar food available this is the second time this has happened stayed their in October and the same only then they were over run with social dancers having stayed their on avg of six times a year for last 20 years I think this will be my last time shame really

Großes Resort mit allen annehmlichkeiten und gutes Frühstück. Es ist ein wenig weiter entfernt vom Centrum aber noch gut erreichbar.

Great hotel, really big and offers a lot of amenities A+

Un hôtel immense, impersonnel, sans âme, Point positif, personnel agréable, petit déjeuner et dîner plutôt bon. Nous n’avons pas testé la piscine mais elle est grande et doit être agréable.

Everything was perfect.We had a beautiful room and the entertainment was brilliant totally recommend the Gleneagle hotel

Excellent for visiting Killarney and surrounding area. 20 minute brisk walk into town. On main road which was noisy from the balcony rooms so bear in mind if you want more peace go around the back. A relaxed and friendly hotel.

Mountain View is lovely The view from our balcony was nice.

Rooms are extremely dated. Very few power outlets in the room. Door in to room kept on getting stuck. We had an evening meal on the first night of our stay and while the food was good the service was appalling and the restaurant wasn't that busy.

First off we found staff at the Gleneagle to be very friendly and helpful. We did the self check-in as there was a large queue for the main hotel check-in desk at the time we arrived on the Friday. Self check-in kiosks were easy enough to manage if your handy at that modern stuff. Rooms in the Hotel67 (Gleneagle) are quite modern, industrial but quirky and we loved the look and feel of our room and building. The room had a lovely view of the Kerry Mountains, "The Mountain View". We received a very well presented continental breakfast delivered outside our door after 7am which could be used for a day trip if needed. There was a great selection of cold foods in our boxes (see photos) and there was Tea/Coffee station in the room. We found the rooms to be very well soundproofed from road noise and hotel ducting systems below our large window. I noticed that the hotel doors do tend to slam when they close on there own though. We thought the mattress was super comfy, I had to check and it was a Respa mattress. Room service was good when we ordered to our room. We would return there in a heartbeat though, fantastic hotel, fantastic setup there. Cons: We had no local TV Irish Freeview channels (no aerial was supplied) but it was a Samsung Smart TV so we managed to mirror/cast what we needed using our newer smartphones and the hotels Wifi, though Prime and RTE Player wouldn't show picture only sound, which we thought was weird, we think it was the app that was limiting the mirrored picture from Smartphone. Water drainage from the shower and sink in our room was poor. It's quite a busy place for parking at the weekend we noticed.

Myself & my partner have stayed twice now at the Gleneagle Hotel. Both times it has been perfect. We stayed at the weekend. All the staff were great and the lady on reception with blonde hair was especially lovely. We will certainly be back for another stay and will be recommending it to others!
