Lodore Falls Hotel & Spa

Had the most amazing time at Lodore Falls! A special birthday treat for my husbands 50th Birthday. Would highly recommend Lodore Falls to anyone! Every single member of staff was brilliant, friendly, attentive, chatty and most importantly they all made us feel welcome! Service was impeccable in every area! One of the girls in the bar even sang Happy Birthday which again was a lovely thing to do and the hubby received a birthday card when checking in, which was a lovely touch! The place is beautiful, clean & tidy, food was amazing and although busy, you could tell each department ran like clockwork! We ate in Falls brassiere the first night, although busy the staff were friendly and attentive, and the young lad who was taking food orders apologised for the delays (I didn’t note his name) he didn’t need to apologise as it was no bother at all, but was really nice of his to do so! He did a great job, as did all the staff! Then Mizu the second night, again the staff were brilliant, helpful and welcoming! Food was lovely too (although I think Falls was my fav out of the two restaurants food wise, just personal preference) Rooms were clean and warm and the bed was sooo comfortable! I’d booked a room with a lake view, planning to sit on the balcony and have breakfast and drinks during our stay, but the great british weather had other plans! (It poured it down!) The Spa was just fantastic, amazing staff and the most relaxing 2 hours ever! We could have stayed there all day! But the rain didn’t stop us having a glass out of Prosecco outside in the heated pool! Was divine! All in all, the two night stay was worth every penny, was the most relaxing, enjoyable and welcoming stay we’ve had somewhere in a long time, would highly highly recommend and can’t wait to return again!

We had a lovely one night stay with dinner and spa access staff were really friendly and welcoming and the spa is a really fantastic place to visit. We had the basic room but would definitely be booking a more luxury room next time.

Fabulous location, stunning hotel and spa with relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Would thoroughly recommend. The room was a bit dated and small but we were hardly in it and the reat more than made up for it.

Beautiful hotel in a stunning part of the world but unfortunately our 4th visit to this hotel was such a let down as a result of the quality of service provided

What a gorgeous place 😍 We went to the main hotel restaurant ( not mizu ). It was absolutely amazing! The food was out of this world, I had the sirloin steak which was incredible! My partner had the Lodore Berger, he said it was fantastic. The service was lovely and our waiter was so friendly. The only problem we had which was not the hotels fault at all was the fact we had a table of four sat next to us about 5 minutes after we arrived, this would not be a problem usually but sadly they where very rude and unmannered. Very loud and swearing any time they could, also at one point spraying perfume and lifting up her armpits to spray them too! We were eating at this point also. Again this was not the hotels fault but to think that the hotel has a certain dress code and manner the people next to us didn’t seem to care how anyone else in there perimeter felt 😂. ( It was also Valentine’s Day ). 10/10 for food and drinks, we would go again definitely, but sadly those people ruined a bit.

Being busy working parents we don’t get out like we used to so we have made Ladore falls our annual treat as a couple. So beautiful, great staff and great spa! Came back refreshed and relaxed! Thank you
