Fiori Hotel

I used to be a regular customer of this hotel, but I will not be returning as I am deeply disappointed and disheartened by the services. I first chose to stay at this hotel in 2019 and have returned often since. I decided to stay here to be close to nature and work remotely for four days, but this was not possible. Phones don't have reception (which is not the hotel's fault, of course), but the Wi-Fi doesn't work anywhere in the facility. They have about 10 networks with different names (Fiori, Fiori C, Fiori1, etc.), and none of them work. As a result, I had to leave a night early and pay for another hotel to work. The breakfast is increasingly sparse.

The owner does not respect guests, yelling at them without reason and creating a tense, uncomfortable atmosphere. This behavior is extremely unprofessional and inappropriate for hospitality. I would strongly discourage anyone from staying here if they're looking for a pleasant, respectful, and relaxing environment.

Prachtige rustige lokatie. Ligt net buiten Gouvia. Slechts 150m van een drukke straat maar die hoor je totaal niet. Vriendelijk en gastvrij personeel, goed ontbijt. Enige minpuntje was het harde bed. Wel een huurauto of scooter nodig 👍👍👍

The hotel is remote...which I'm sure people are aware of before booking it so I am surprised at the low review score because of this. If you want to be in the city centre then you pay those prices. This hotel is tucked out of the way. It is quiet. You can access the beaches, airport, town centre, water parks etc using the public buses. Yes you have to walk to get to a bus stop but for goodness sake, it is less than a mile. We did not need a car! The receptionists, bar staff, breakfast restaurant staff were friendly and helpful. The food on an evening was good with hot, home cooked meals rather than reheated stuff. The rooms were small but kept clean. We had a nice balcony which helped dry out swimming stuff on an evening. The beds were comfy and the mini fridge was helpful to have. As we had a room near reception, there was a bit of noise on an evening of people coming in and banging doors but this can't be helped. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a peaceful break. The older man (manager/owner?) shouting at the bar staff on a frequent basis was very distressing for children to see and hear. Not sure why he couldn't just have a quiet word with them if there was a problem rather than displaying his aggression in front of guests trying to have a lovely holiday experience. We nicknamed him Shouty man because he was doing it every day that we were there. I hope he reads the reviews and sees how many people have noticed and commented on him shouting at the staff. Please stop doing it, it can be scary for children or women to hear.

Ο χώρος εξω υπέροχος αλλά από θέμα καθαριότητας το μηδέν είναι λίγο!!! Δεν έγινε καμία ενέργεια για βελτίωση της κατάστασης. Το πρωινό πολύ φτωχό και η τιμή για μια διανυκτέρευση δεν είναι ανάλογη των παροχών. Με την ίδια τιμή βρίσκεις ξενοδοχείο 5 αστέρων! Και από σήμα wifi καθόλου....

We stayed here in early September since it was a handy location for a family wedding being held at nearby Ktima Valsami. The staff are really wonderful - generous, kind and you feel the truw warmth of Greek hospitality. The rooms are admittedly very basic and simple but with gorgeous views of the pool and garden (make sure you have a pool view as opposed to one at the rear of the hotel). We had a family room with bunk beds (kids aged 5 & 8) and the 8-year-old only just fit in the bed - they’re small mattresses, so beware if you’re kids are over 135cm. Air con worked well, the breakfast was good with omelettes and nice fresh bread, and we ate at the hotel reataurant twice - good food and very good prices. We didn’t hire a car, but I would certainly do that next time, as the location is remote and it’s not a nice walk along the main road, particularly with kids. For the price I think it’s unbeatable and would certainly return here - we really didn’t want to leave!
