We travelled ferm Poland with Exim Tours. The transfer took almost 2 hours on a narrow, winding road. Upon arrival, we were told there was a “system error” and for the first 3 nights we’d stay in a different room than booked. Thankfully, both rooms were spacious — the first had two bedrooms and a kitchenette (without dishes), and the second was a two-level apartment with a side sea view. Unfortunately, the beds were uncomfortable — one too hard, the other with springs poking through. The main pool was large, clean, and sunbeds were always available — no morning towel rush. Quiet background music, discreet entertainment, and aquafitness twice during our stay. Three smaller pools were also well maintained. The nearest beach was charming — pebbly with some sand, accessed via a shaded path. Small fish swam near the shore. The shuttle to Avlaki beach either didn’t run or we couldn’t find it. We had HB. Breakfast was the same every day but fine, with typical Greek hotel drinks. Dinner was tasty — similar dishes each evening, but rotated enough. Always fries, pasta with sauces, fresh vegetables, and feta. Lunch could be bought at the pool bar at a reasonable price. The hotel shop was well stocked. It takes about 10–15 minutes to walk to Kassiopi — not far, but the heat makes it tiring. Lots of restaurants, shops, and attractions there. The hotel grounds had lovely turtles and a few healthy-looking cats. No kettle or iron in the room, but both could be borrowed from reception. The biggest downside was the return transfer — Exim didn’t pick us up from the hotel itself, even though other companies did, which made departure more difficult with luggage.
