Villa Bambas Resort

The best place for relaxed holiday Amazing place to stay if you are looking for a relaxed holiday in a very beautiful place. The Villa is located close to the beach and couple of lovely tavernas. Rooftop terrace in the Villa is amazing to watch sunsets, and also loved doing my morning pilates work out there. The owner Alex was really nice & helpful and easy to reach. The Villa is very clean and also has a really pretty garden with places to hang out like the hammock.

The apartment looks good and well furnished, however the problem came from the technical issue. Immediately after we checked in the host informed us that in our two bedroom apartment only one air conditioning unit is working. The worst part - the host bluntly stated that fixing "may take one or two days, or maybe will take a month or more". After I got seriously upset and complained that this greatly reduces our comfort (we are talking about seven days stay in a 35-37 Celsius heat), the host did not show any empathy or suggested any solution (room change maybe?), but only said that 1) A/C comes for free and therefore we did not pay for it (What???) and therefore we have no ground to complain, and 2) he (the host) did all he could (called the technician....allegedly) and there is nothing more he can (or rather wants to) do. Further complaining to him only resulted in our host saying to me and my family : "I don't like your attitude!" ....really now??? To say that we are all in shock is to say NOTHING! I seriously recommend to everyone to avoid this place or even cancel any future bookings. People that run this place have zero knowledge about hospitality or even a simple empathy! Horrible!!!

Fantastic place! Wonderful location, so peaceful and quiet, great views over the lonian Sea to Albania. Short walk to the beach and three good tavernas in easy walking distance. Fabulous base for sightseeing the north of the island. Alex was friendly and helpful. There was a problem with the water on our first morning but he sorted it quickly. The only thing we didn't like was having to leave.

The villa is well furnished with everything you need for your stay. Our room had access to the inner yard, that had an awesome sea view and it was really nice having a breakfast there. The rooftop garden is amazing, with 360° pnorama of the area and is great for chilling and watching the sunsets. The beach is at a 5 min walk distance, very calm, the water is clean. There are some taverns and a bar in the area. The bar offers very good brunch options. The only one downside of the area is that it is a bit hard to access by public transport (but still there are some bus options). Best choice to reach is by rent-a-car. And finally the host is very friendly and responsive and will make sure to offer you the best stay possible. It was a pleasure to be a guest there.
