Kalimera Apartments

Amazing apartments, amazing people, amazing food. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfy. The pool was so lovely. Denise at the bar was so friendly and nice. Deffinatly we would go again 100% We would recommend to anyone who wanted to stay in Kassiopi

Got back this afternoon after staying for 7 nights bed and breakfast, the apartments have good points and bad points, the best point is the location, literally 5 mins walk to the resort through an alleyway yet quite at the same time. The owners are friendly but do not arrive at the apartment until 9 am, as we were bed and breakfast that meant it was 9.30 before we got served our breakfast which you choose from a menu, the greek yogurt and fruit are nice but the other choices are different things on toast which are served by the pool. There is no reception at this hotel so you have to go to the bar to check in and the owners leave at 7pm. As previous reviews have stated the owners allow other close apartments to use their sunbeds and the pool area is shut off to the Kalimera guests until 9 am but whilst we were there a guest from the other apartments was there at 8.30 am and had his families towels out in the same spot every morning! You can buy drinks and snacks at the bar and the pizzas were lovely. The apartment itself is a fair size, as others stated air con 8 euros per night and as we had booked two rooms cost 112 euros for the week, the mattresses are not good quality and you could feel the bed springs when you slept. The room has a safe, a kitchenette which needs a little refurbishment as work surfaces stained and scratched, the bathroom is a little tired and worn, towel rail in shower corroding with rust, shower is hand held and not good quality, towels changed twice during our stay but could do with being replaced, as we were leaving before the owners arrived they bought us some yoghurt and fruit the night before which was a nice touch, Lots of nice restaurants by the harbour and we tried alot of them, I would recommend booking them though as they get busy. Would we stay here again, only for location and friendliness of the owners but it would be self catering

Very nice pool area with plenty of beds although note it is open for anyone to use and can get over run and noisy with families and children, apartments ideally situated only 2 minutes into the centre of the town, rooms quite adequate although the bathroom was very small, the shower in particular was quite awkward to get in and out of as the it was hemmed in on one side by the toilet and the other side by the sink.

The apartment was clean, very well maintained and the housekeeping service was excellent. Up at the pool area it was very clean, not too busy so a sunbed was always available. Denise, who runs the pool bar and shows new visitors to their apartment, is professional, knowledgeable and very friendly. A real asset to the business. A fantastic trip, will definitely return.

Kalimera apartments are in the "budget range" of accommodation but give you clean and tidy rooms with more than adequate equipment and great service. The real bonus is the pool and bar area located next to the apartments which is friendly and , again , comes with great service from Denise and Joanne who provide a wide range of drinks and good quality food poolside. Another bonus is the apartments central location meaning both the fabulous harbour area with it's bars and restaurants or the town shops , bakeries etc are only a minute or twos walk. We took or trip with Jet2 which was a package deal but the apartments are can be booked direct. We would absolutely recommend this location and intend to stay again.

Concerned after we booked that there were no trip advisor reviews so I’m doing the decent thing by adding the apartments with a review. I believe rooms have been recently refurbed and had a name change which may be why. A bit daunted when we were dropped off at the top of a lane however only a very short walk to the block of 8 rooms. Met by Denice, a very nice lady who manages the pool and snack bar area. Clean and tidy apartments and no issues throughout our stay. Positives Very clean pool area with a good snack bar and bar Room had a fridge, microwave, plenty cutlery crockery etc. and a 2 ring hob Air con for a charge (which I expected) Safety deposit box for free ( which I didn’t) Rooms serviced every day (except Sunday) towels and bedding changed 2 x weekly. Negatives Balcony was very small and standard to all 6 front facing rooms. The 2 side rooms had a bigger balcony but may be bigger rooms. View was of waste ground, but I’m sure if I wanted a view of Kassiopi harbour the accommodation would have been a lot more expensive. Overall, no disappointments and by and large as advertised. Main positive for us was the central location. We were very central in the town, 30 metres from one supermarket and about 50 m from another in the square, which is the location of a number of bars and restaurants. The harbour is approximately another 100m away. Definitely recommend.
