Sheen Falls Lodge

100% 5 star stay. The grounds are beautiful and the treatment on arrival was superb- from our welcome drink, to the history of the Hotel and to be shown to our room. Top Class! The food in the stables was fab and the breakfast was delicious the following morning. The pool area was very nice and relaxing. I was expecting an outdoor hot tub for a 5 star but over all it was amazing. Will be back again in the near future!

Myself and my partner stayed here recently for one night. The receptionist who we dealt with was very professional and informative in relation to the hotel. She also asked if we wanted our bags to be taken to the bedroom. The complementary hot whiskey on arrival was also a welcome surprise. The bedroom was spacious and had a nice view overlooking the bay. The pool area was very nice, the only thing I would expect from a 5 star was an outside pool or jacuzzi but look maybe that’s just me. Food was very nice. Or desert was forgotten about I think but arrived after asking the waiter. One other thing I would have liked on arrival is to be informed about walks or trails in the local area. Again just a small thing but overall this hotel is definitely 5 star and well worth a stay for anyone looking for a relaxing stay.

Sheen falls is our absolute favourite place in Kenmare.The hotel grounds are just stunning…..absolutely beautiful. The hotel staff were excellent in every way, so welcoming and attentive. The food was also excellent and the views from every window were just stunning. We would highly recommend Sheen falls to everyone visiting Kenmare.Its a very special place.

We recently stayed here in the Estate Room for 3 nights. The hotel is set across the bay from the beautiful town of Kenmare. It is a short bicycle ride or drive to Kenmare. We got there and were immediately escorted to our room. The room had an incredible view of the Sheen River falls. It had just rained and the amount of water was awesome to watch. We could not have been more pleased with the room and the service of this hotel. We ate in the Falls restaurant and the service and food were incredible. We also ate in the Stables and while not as fancy as the Falls, it had great food. Room service for breakfast was prompt and tasty. I can not recommend this hotel enough if you are in the Kenmare area. The hotel is right on Ring of Kerry also. If you stay here you will not be disappointed.

We were looking for peace, luxury and great service and got this and more at Sheen Falls. From the moment we arrived the staff were excellent, any request we had was immediately dealt with a smile. Our room, we had one of the smaller suites, was well equipped and had a lovely view which meant it was perfect to sit with a book and a coffee. The bathroom with separate bath and shower was spacious and came with Elemis products. We were very impressed with the food in the Falls restaurant, both for breakfast and dinner. The Stables was a nice alternative for a more casual meal. The spa is small but our treatments were excellent, we never felt rushed. The hotel location is good for exploring this part of Kerry. Even the temperamental Kerry weather didn't put us off the short walk into Kenmare each day. Even just sitting in the garden admiring the falls was a nice way to pass some time. Overall the hotel has an "old world" feel but in a modern building with modern facilities. All backed up with traditional hospitality. We would definitely return.
