The Shore Kelowna

I emailed 4 times and called 4 times and not one person called me back!! Shame on management!! It was over a 30 day period so absolutely no excuses. They lost out on 4 couples traveling to Kelowna frequently from Napa Valley & LA. Wayne # 99

Very clean. Perfect for a short stay. Well equipped and good choice of eateries on ground floor. Good location to lake and beach, but not for walking into town centre. We’d definitely revisit aaa we’d like to see more of Kelowna, and we’d stay at The Shore

Landlord staff extremely unfriendly, dont reply to messages, dont say hello in hallway and always appear to have an attitude. Do not come here unless you want to feel uncomfortable the whole time by them.

The apartment was clean and well appointed with the basics. A dish rack would have been helpful for washing up. Everything was very clean and well maintained. There is an air conditioning unit in each room for heating/cooling and also a central air system. The central air system cannot be turned off and the noise was constant and not an issue for us. There is a large shared patio area with multiple BBQ’s. The property is well secured and a pass key is required to both enter the building and use the elevator. We paid extra for a room with a “lake view”. The ad for this room states: “boasting sweeping water front views over Gyro Beach and Lake Okanagan” The resort is situated on a busy corner and the only lake view for our 3rd floor room was small glimpse between the trees of the path to the beach. The main view is a busy street intersection and there is currently a construction site off the main balcony. We had hoped to sit on the balcony and enjoy the view of the lake and sunsets. Excellent customer service. Management was quick to respond and address our concerns in a satisfactory manner. Despite this occurrence, we would return

Our modern 2-bedroom, 2-bath apartment was spotlessly clean with everything our party (2 couples) needed for a 2-night stay. Huge windows and a balcony overlooked Gyro Park and Lake Okanogan. We could watch beach volleyball from our living area. Keyless entry (a smartphone makes it easy) provides excellent security. Also, strong WiFi throughout the multi-storied building. The Shore’s ground floor is loaded with interesting restaurants, a takeout pizza joint, beauty salons, even an ice cream shop. And it’s a short walk to a downtown bustling with quirky shops and eating places.

Had a wonderful 9 days stay at the Shore. Lovely welcome when we arrived. Took us to our apartment which was really lovely, very well equipped and spotlessly clean. The beds were super comfortable. Nothing to much trouble we asked for a ironing board and iron and requested a hair dryer they were brought to the room within 10 mins. The location was great straight across from a beautiful beach. We can not wait to return very soon In the near future!!
