Islands of Siankaba

Tintswalo Siankaba was breathtaking! The rutted dirt entry road did take us back at first, but once settled in the transfer boat, all was fantastic. The welcoming cool face cloth and hand massage was such a treat! Every meal was fabulous! And the staff looked out for our every need. The evening sunset cruise was special. Highly recommend location for a spot of pampering!

Best birthday experience ever while food and the hosting was out of this world homely and it’s a place you want to go back to a million times.The team from Simon,Numba,Syden,Humphrey,Charlton,Taonga,Francis and entire team were awesome.The service was excellent from arrival to departure a must do when in Livingstone.

Nuestro inicio de viaje fue en este maravilloso lugar donde paramos tres noches. Sitio ideal para dejar todo el estrés que llevamos de casa e iniciar viaje en África. El lugar precioso, a pie del río, en cabañas individuales muy bien equipadas. Con vistas al increíble río Zambeze que nos cautivó. No nos cansamos de salir a ver las puestas de sol, los hipopótamos, disfrutar del río...genial Nos sorprendió tanto la calidad de las comidas, el cariño que han puesto en su elaboración y su presentación. Saludamos al chef y le agradecimos tanto lo que nos preparó cada día. Especialmente agradecemos a Simon todo lo que estuvo pendiente de nosotros y de recuperar del aeropuerto la maleta que llegó perdida de uno de nosotros. También gracias la atención de Johnatan que nos acompañó tanto por los pueblos como la visita a las Victoria Falls. Nos facilitó todo mucho sin tener que preocuparnos de nada. Gracias por todo y qué bonito es el lugar que preparáis para que la gente se sienta mejor que en casa. Zambia en el corazón. Gracias.

This is a very special place, ideal for relaxing after a safari. It is a beautiful location and the rooms are comfortable and well appointed. The food is excellent too. What really stands out is the the quality of service. All of the staff from the General Manager Simon, through to Numba, Tom, Lubasi, Charlton, Sydney and Jackson ( I hope that I have not forgotten anyone ) do fantastic job and work very hard to make your stay exceptional in every way. Do take advantage of the excursions on offer, especially to the local village school. Highly recommended.

This place is just MIND BLOWING, the staff amazing. If you need to wind down and reflect and enjoy the environment, this is the place to be . The staff led by Simon is so professional and you just love it. Canoeing was the highlight, especially to my beautiful wife. Will be the ambassador of this great place

Where do you start when this place is so magical in many ways. When we drove up to the reception area the welcome was just so lovely. The area is so gorgeous. It truly is 5 star and more. You go on a boat to the Island and the views are amazing. Can't explain how beautiful this place is. We stayed 4 nights and every day and night we saw something different and experienced wonderful excursions. What makes this place so special is all the staff. They go beyond and they couldn't be more helpful. They are all so happy, friendly and it felt like we have gained a new family. The food is outstanding, from breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, snacks and of course the 5 course dinner. All the meals were so delicious. We were blown away with the plating, taste and imagination of the chefs. The lodges had the most amazing views, it was so peaceful. The way to get to the lodges was an adventure too which added to the whole experience. The lodges had everything you would ever need and more, pure luxury. The rooms were constantly refreshed and looked after, everyone was so attentive. The sunset cruises were stunning, every night we went out on the Zambezi spotting the wild life, the beauty. Enjoying a sundowner drink with the most delicious little canapés. The guides were full of knowledge about all the wildlife and area. All the excursions we did the guides were so attentive and full of knowledge. They made our day out. We also went to spend time at the local village school, we took children's clothes with us to donate. If you are staying at the lodge, please do the village walk and see the school. The children were so delighted and happy to have us. The whole holiday was a trip of a lifetime and we will never forget it. The staff are now part of our family. Would recommend this place in a heart beat, I think everyone should try a piece of heaven.
