The location of this hotel is exceptional, but honestly that is the only positive! Our room view from our window was of the other side of the hotel wall. We did ask for a city view when we checked in, but was rudely told no rooms were ready with a view. So we gladly took the room and didn't complain until we got ready to get in bed to watch television and the sheets were wet! I called the front desk and we were told to gather all our belongings and come to the front desk to get another room (no sorry...no we will send a bell hop to assist you, not anything!) So we packed everything up went to the front desk and were treated like a huge inconvenience to them. The girl didn't even bother standing up let alone apologize for sheets that were wet. Whether they just didn't dry them well or whatever the reason this is not how you treat paying customers and you sure don't expect them to sleep in a bed with wet sheets! Once again no apology just very indifferent. We were sent to another room once again facing a wall. I wasn't asking for anything free, but an upgrade or voucher for a free breakfast would have been appreciated and I would not have written a negative review. I understand things happen, but this is unacceptable! This is not Hilton standards and we were extremely disappointed in the lackadaisical response when reporting the issue. When I called to cooperate to voice my concern I was told that they had house keeping check the sheets and they were fine therefore they don't owe us an apology or any reimbursement. If the sheets were fine we sure would NOT have moved all our items at night to go to the exact type of room. Do better Hilton! We paid way too much for this room to get this type of service. Highly disappointed!
