Hotel Thilon arvostelua

I arrived in Sri Lanka at 3am because my flight got delayed. On the hotel’s page, it says 24hour counter service. However, when I arrived at the door, there was no one. I knocked on the door, rang the phone numbers and got no reply at all so I had to rearrange my stay at 3am. Later on, I reached out to trip.com’s customer service. The team was very helpful but the hotel claimed that there were staffs, and tried to table around and said that I didn’t show up. Overall very terrible experience.

不推薦這種民宿住宿，提前很多天預訂了，但入住當晚沒房間了。突突車司機帶我們過去後，老闆又帶我們到了另一個地方，三間變成兩間，還不打算給我們早餐，最後我拿着打印好的訂單跟她確認才答應提供早餐。

空港から近く、夜便で到着するにはちょうど良い 遅くの訪問にもかかわらず、気持ちよく迎えてくれました。 仲良し夫婦さんが経営してる宿です。

The picture of the room on your website and the physical room looks very bad . Washroom and bed condition is very bad

Close to the airport but difficult to find. I would highly recommend having internet in case you need to explain directions.

This guy made out transfer so easy. The transportation was included and we slept like babies in his place. If you are transiting in colombo he is the person to go to. We had an early departure and a late arrival and he made it possible. Thank you my friend … until next time

Black mold on the walls. I ended up sitting in the wooden chair provided all night for fear of sleeping on the bed. Wishing I would’ve listened to my gut when I first walked in and left.

Peaceful night's sleep and friendly staff Peaceful nice rest in a nearby airport hotel. The AC is cold, room very clean, food is great. The manager was ver helpful and assisted is without day trip plans. We were able to store our luggage here after check out. Nothing super fancy with this hotel. But a friendly staff, and quiet evening makes a difference when you have a long day of travel. We had a long layover and only stayed 1 night But will be staying here again, should we visit Colombo.

This hotel in an inexpensive option close to the airport. My (long) flight arrived very late evening and all I needed was a nearby location to catch up on sleep. Taxi was organized. It suited my needs well. Would not do so if you're fussy and willing to pay more. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was worthy of any five star hotel.

Inside the locality

This was a great stay, we came in late after a long flight and just wanted a place to crash for the night before heading south. It was quiet, clean and cool: we had AC and bed was comfy: a private shower/bathroom. My host was lovely and got up early to make us HUGE breakfast before we caught the train in Colombo. He arranged our (reasonably priced) taxi to the station and gave us free fresh bananas from his yard for the ride. 10/10 for the quick stay. Thanks again
