This transit hotel is perfect for travellers either arriving late or leaving early. Very clean and friendly staff in the hotel as well as restaurant. Bhanuka at reception was very welcoming and helpful with information. The restaurant had a good choice of tasty small meals and was reasonably priced. We were very happy here with our one night stay allowing us to catch an early flight home to Scotland. The airport is just a few minutes away and a shuttle is arranged by the hotel

Das Hotel liegt praktisch in der Nähe des Flughafens, der (pünktliche) Shuttleservice ist inklusive. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und bemüht. Die Sauberkeit des Zimmers war ok. Das ein Hotel in der Nähe des Flughafens lauter ist, war durchaus zu erwarten. Jedoch liegt das Hotel auch an einer viel befahrenen Straße. Es war kurz gesagt, extrem laut. Wenn die Flugzeuge drüber fliegen, wackelt alles. Die Klimaanlage funktioniert, war aber ebenfalls sehr laut. An Schlaf war in dieser letzten Nacht leider nicht zu denken. Anmerkung am Rande: das Hotel hält Fische in einer Art Teich. Die Fische schwimmen in ihren eigenen Ausscheidungen. Es gibt gerade mal 10 cm Wasser für sie und nur Beton drumherum. Ein absolutes No-Go aus Tierschutz-Sicht.

You really can't ask for a sweeter hotel so close to the Colombo airport. Whether you are arriving late, or have an early flight, the Olinia is a true taste of what is so magical about Sri Lanka. Simple, clean, and charming – with a lovely courtyard, flowers, a plunge pool, and a great restaurant upstairs – why deal with Colombo prices and traffic. I highly recommend this place. I am currently sipping a cold Lion beer by the pool instead of worrying about my early flight.

We stayed in Olinia at the start and end of our trip to SL. Its best for overnight stay in case you are arriving late at the Colombo Intl. Airport. Basic Facilities are available. The rooms are clean and mostly offer what is promised. We just had once concern on our return stay. The room provided was smaller compared to the booking. It had a common door with the adjoining room.

It located less than 10 minutes by car from Colombo International Airport. As a transit hotel, it's very useful. It's located close to the airport, we clearly heard planes taking off in the early morning and at night. When large planes fried, it was a bit noisy. We saw planes taking off from the restaurant on the second floor. There was a pool at the back of an impressive courtyard, and simple rooms with a relaxing tropical atmosphere are lined up on the first floor. The room was spacious with a queen-size bed, a small LCD TV, a desk, an electric kettle, and a luggage stand. The bathroom had a washbasin, toilet, and shower. Only a soap was provided as an amenity, so you should bring shampoo and teeth brushes. There is a restaurant on the second floor that could be used for breakfast and dinner, and food delivery to the room is also available.

Perfetto per la vicinanza all'aeroporto. Navetta gratuita da prenotare all'arrivo. Ristorante situato sul ballatoio, molto economico, con una scelta molto vasta e qualitativamente accettabile. Una scelta utilissima per chi ha un volo in partenza di mattina e vuole evitare di alzarsi all'alba. Ci ritornerò sicuramente!

We booked this Airport Hotel as we were arriving quite late and didn't want to go too far for the first night. We were pleasantly surprised, we were greeted well and assisted with our luggage. The rooms were very comfortable and we enjoyed a lovely breakfast. We had booked at the same Hotel on our return but unfortunately I had booked for 2025 and they were fully booked. They very kindly transported us to another Airport Hotel free of charge, they could not have been more helpful. If you are looking for a comfortable hotel for an overnight stay I would highly recommend Olinia.

We had Lemon Chicken ,Sesame Chicken, Sweet and Sour Chicken and Garlic Shrimp with a family plate if rice. It was delicious. A fabulous dinner to end our vacation in Sri Lanka. I wish we could have eaten here again to try other foods. Just delicious.
