we arrived at Lurline House My Husband and I in 1922 we were welcomed by the host with a lovely cup of hot chocolate and home made biscuits as it was chilly that day then shown to our room which was warm with the radiator on ,The big four poster bed with lace canopy was so so comfortable also the bathroom with shower over the spa was well appointed with plenty of room to move around although we didn,t use spa as we are elderly there was plenty of hot water Meals in the dining area were well catered for by host and hostess nothing was to much trouble .Going up to front steps was a bit difficult with luggage but we soon worked it out The period furniture was very comfortable very clean This venue was in walking distance to all they had in Katoomba
