Location is superb, right in the middle of Kathmandu, walking distance to Thamel. Other interesting landmarks are easy to reach with the helpful taxi drivers (always present outside the gates). Hotel staff are very kind, sincerely engage in conversation and helpful in providing tourist information. Rooms are cost and warm decorated. Hotel has a beautiful garden suitable for a relaxing stroll. Swimming pool is nice and very clean! I highly recommend this hotel above other hotels in Kathmandu. Thank you Mr Prakesh for the awesome service in the restaurant.

相對中規中矩的五星級酒店，沒有特色，相比於德瓦利卡差多了，同樣價格也會低不少；在這裏住了兩晚，搬到德瓦利卡住了一晚，差距不小。

有典型的尼泊爾風情酒店，但水質略偏黃，其他都可以。

Good hotel

Stayed at Yak & Yeti for two days, and let me tell you—this place is a vibe. A perfect blend of history and modern comfort, with lush gardens, elegant interiors, and top-tier amenities. Abiral was the man—gave me a solid tour of the property, super helpful and friendly. His senior, Suraj, added to the hospitality, making sure everything was on point. Location? Spot on. Experience? Smooth. If you’re in Kathmandu and want a stay that’s both classy and comfortable, this is the spot. Highly recommend.

This is a gorgeous heritage hotel in the very centre of Kathmandu. I had a lovely five night recent stay here. My recently renovated room was beautifully decorated with many local flourishes, such as a beautiful screen with a mural, lushly coloured local textiles and a carved headboard. It was in immaculate condition, except for a dirty brown slash on a wall that looked like someone's shoe marks. I couldn't resist using a wet towel to wipe it and - sure enough - the stains disappeared and the wall was clean again. Housekeeping should have noticed the dirt on the walls and fixed it, but apart from that, there were no further issues. The staff at reception and the help desk in the lobby were very attentive and kind. The hotel grounds, with a swimming pool, pond with three adorable ducks that did everything together, and gardens, were beautiful and relaxing. The hotel's heritage as a former Rana palace is evident everywhere, but particularly in the old wing, well worth a stroll. There are a gym, a spa and a jacuzzi. The area was a bit messy when I went one evening. Staff should have been more attentive. There were discarded towels from previous guests on the ground and the complimentary drink area was messy. Despite these small lapses, I loved the hotel and would happily return.

Great experience, great atmosphere and friendly staff. I really enjoyed my stay. The restaurant was good. Thanks for your hospitality. I will definitely come back again. Nice stay. Cheap price in comparison to the service we get. Breakfast is included too.

Mr Salikram, who was in charge of the breakfast, took good care of us. He would take orders for our dinner and ensure that it was cooked with great care. He is definitely, an asset to the property. The chef, Mr Mansingh, prepared a Nepali Chicken delicacy which was amazing. Overall, the experience was nice. The rooms are spacious, overlooking the vast green area. We were in the old block, where the wifi connectivity is poor. There was a hot water pipe burst but a call to the reception, immediately solved the situation. They arranged for a spare room opposite ours where we could shower. The property is beautiful. Well-maintained. The decor is aesthetically done. Highly recommend to tourists!

Best fine dining in Kathmandu. Love the food, ambience and the service. Definitely try farmed grilled chicken when you’re here. They also serve with complimentary appetizers which are very unique and flavorful. Also, do try the Lime pie for desert here, it’s the yummiest.

A amazing hotel with a great central location. The staff was helpful,the rooms clean and great access to amenities too.
