Loved the stay, it’s a traditional hotel in Thamel area where you can find everything you need from the market and the night life, spa salon and tomato centers, even yoga places around The hotel service was so good and the staff was really nice and flexible

Very friendly staff, great breakfast and affordable. Located in the heart of thamel, it's easy to find, and near all the best restaurants in town. I would recommend this place for groups, couples and even corporate retreats. Thank you Hotel Thamel!

Very pleasant stay at Hotel Thamel House. Front desk staff are friendly and accommodating, very happy to hold luggage, exchange cash, provide restaurant recommendations and otherwise help out. Our room was spacious with a comfortable bed and a smart TV for Netflix viewing. The wifi worked great - strong and steady signal. The washroom could use a refresh (old toilet and fixtures, and stiff worn towels), but it was adequate. As others have noted, the rooms are situated above an inner courtyard that houses the outdoor dining patrons, so be aware that it can be fairly noisy at night until the restaurant closes (and even afterwards, as the clean-up crew bangs around quite loudly). Morning breakfast buffet was decent; nothing special, but you'll find enough variety to start you off for the day.
