We were warmly greeted by the staff at the entrance. I had booked a deluxe room and had arrived early, would have appreciated an early checkin but the room wasn’t ready so meanwhile I explored the resort amenities. It has a private beach with a mini golf area and a bar alongside. The staff is friendly but most of the staff is new, a bit slow but they get you what you need. Maybe that’s how they’re wired, I’m unsure but they were kind. Pictures don’t do enough justice to this property. It’s massive, beautiful interiors with high end quality products. Loved the spa, felt so rejuvenated and I loved their bathing product line, the shower gels, etc. It’s ace quality. Food was good. They had live performance that got everyone on flood. It’s one of the best properties I’ve stayed at.

Best resort in Zanzibar that gives you 5 star treatment ! Absolutely loved their service & warm welcome. Stuff is super nice & kind. If you need any assistance they are kind enough to help you. Their breakfast & dinner buffet is amazing! There’s always music playing + a live band. So many activities to enjoy at the resort. I will choose Sea Cliff resort again!

Good views of the ocean and comfortable beds. Variety in entertainment. I love the endless swimming illusion. The conference package is worth it. I especially enjoyed bicycle riding, swimming and the variety in food. The staff are warm. The ambience is high quality

I loved our time here at Sea Cliff resort! We came for our honeymoon and one of our birthdays. The staff was very attentive and accommodating, providing multiple extra desserts, champagne, and romantic dinners. Musa was very helpful throughout the stay and always inquired if we needed anything else. The facility itself was great with all the amenities, including a gym, mini golf, tennis, pickle ball, and many others. We came during low season so not much was being used but it seemed set up for very high traffic. We also used the daily shuttle to Stonetown, though beware they don't arrange for a guide and upon arrival you are swarmed by about 10 guides trying to buy their service. For the facility, the pool area was great and had two infinity pools with bars nearby. The only downside was the beach was a further walk away and both times we went were haggled by locals to take private dolphin / turtle/ island tours. Other than that there we no issues and we had a great time.

J’ai passé un séjour exceptionnel à l’hôtel Sea Cliff ! L’emplacement est tout simplement magnifique, avec une vue imprenable sur l’océan. Le personnel était chaleureux, attentionné et toujours prêt à aider. La chambre était spacieuse, propre et très confortable. Le restaurant sur place offrait une excellente cuisine et varier, notamment des fruits de mer frais. C’est l’endroit idéal pour se détendre et profiter d’un cadre paisible et luxueux. Je recommande vivement cet hôtel à tous ceux qui recherchent une escapade mémorable en bord de mer ! Mention spéciale pour la célébration de mon anniversaire organisé par leurs soins.

Fijn resort met veel sportfaciliteiten zoals een gym, tennisbanen en paardrijden. Keurig onderhouden tuinen. Zeer vriendelijk personeel van tuinman tot receptionist. Mijn favoriet was Ibrahim, werkend in de bediening.Altijd heel vrolijk, gezellig en professioneel. Heerlijk hotel

We stayed for a week as a couple with our 7 year old. Every day she stayed at the kids club, who took great care of her. They played tennis, lego, did drawings, made a handbag, jumped on a trampoline and played mini golf. They also have a PS5 that sometimes attracted older kids as well. A big thank you to Sakina and Mwanahora! The resort is a green paradise with several swimming pools, and offers many activities. We enjoyed mini golf, billiard, the gym, swimming and greeted the horses. April is rain season, and the weather is a bit unpredictable and ranges from full sun, cloudy to heavy rain in a couple of hours. That makes planning activities a bit difficult. On the plus side we preferred cloudy weather and the resort and excursions are not crowded. The resort has an activity centre that can arrange excursions for you. We went by boat to Prison Island to see the giant turtles and learn some history. The boat trip took 50 min each way and on the way back we could have a swim in the sea and they served some fruits. Our daughter enjoyed the day, and particularly to see the big turtles. We also took the free shuttle to Stone Town with its labyrinth streets and many markets. The shuttle took 50 min. At the shuttle meeting point in Stone Town, there are official guides (wearing a card) that can walk you around. Our guide was well worth, as he was both a good companion, sharing his knowledge and giving us helpful advice. He also called the shuttle driver so we could return an hour early. Our daughter enjoyed the day in Stone Town and particularly buying colourful dresses and necklaces and having a strawberry smoothie by the sea. You can also get henna painting and have your hair braided. All staff is very friendly and helpful to ensure that you have a wonderful stay. We recommend this hotel for families travelling with kids up to 10 years due to all the activities. The resort is also very compact, so we had to walk a lot less compared to all other resorts we have stayed at. As we had an evening flight, they let us stay in another room until our departure. Tip 1: Bring a lot of dollars to Zanzibar. Visa and taxi is paid cash, we paid 230$ for visa and taxi airport-resort-airport. You also need cash for excursions and tipping. If needed you can withdraw dollars at the reception or local currency in Stone Town. Tip 2: It is appreciated if you leave tips in the tip box on the reception counter. Tip 3: weather is a bit unpredictable in the rain season, but locals say it usually rains when the sea level is high and heavy rainfalls only last a short time.
