So! Better late than never. This is a resort I would highly recommend!!! From the booking process which I was assisted by Hillary Minja to the waitress who took very good care of us at The Level, Lilian was her name, throughout our stay. Hillary who sits in a sister resort in Arusha made sure our booking was seamless. He was so efficient and kind. He even made me feel like traveling to Arusha just to experience more of Meliá. Once we got there, there was a lady at the reception who welcomed us so well!! We immediately went to the bar to wait for them to settle us in our room since we were early. We were staying in the Grand Suite. It was exceptional!!! The bathroom area was phenomenal! And the balcony views!! Whew! At the bar btw we met Lilian who took very good care of us for the week we were there. Anytime we went and missed her, we'd be so excited to see her later for her shift! You guys should promote her! The Beach restaurant is nice but you need more food variety for sure. The pools both at The Level and the other side were so good! So warm!!! Enjoyed every part! Even the spa pool! Jetty Restaurant is really good. Feels like a movie set. However, it is crazy that's it's not in the premium package. Everyone pays. You guys should look into that. Jetty should be accessible to The Level clients. We were literally the only black people which was weird but being Kenyan, it was pretty easy for us to communicate with the staff plus they were so warm! The GM was also pretty kind to us. The other thing I feel you should improve on is the other side. For us we really enjoyed The Level since it was adult only and everything was premium and the menu and service didn't disappoint (Though you need to add drinks for the price paid for premium) We couldn't drink basic drinks we drink in Kenya as part of our package! That's crazy. Anyway, my partner and I decided to try out the other side and it was a disappointment. The food is so limited and not as good and the service is horrible for the most part. Plus drinks are also limited so much. Felt sorry for those people. We went back to The Level side after our breakfast experience. Never went to that side again apart from the pool. Your staff should try and learn more English so it can be easier to communicate. It can get frustrating for both parties. I feel like people who don't pay for The Level, really get short changed here. So if you want to have a grand time, pay premium. Honestly, it was worth it! Didn't even leave the resort because of how much of a good time we were having. My partner and I said we will add Meliá to our annual trip. It will always feel like home! ❤️
