"Olin Aegean Villagessa viikon tyttäreni ja ystäväni kanssa elokuussa - syyskuussa 2024. Rakastimme kaunis hotelli ja sen sijainti. Hotelli on tyylikäs mutta silti viihtyisä. Ihmiset, jotka työskentelevät siellä ovat loistavia, erittäin ystävällisiä ja apua. Meillä oli ylellinen huone, jossa oli merivaate. Huone oli melko pieni kolmelle henkilölle. Ja minun täytyy sanoa, että sohva huoneessa ei sovellu millään tavalla nukkumaan, ei edes lapsille. Seuraavalla kerralla varmasti varata perhehuone. Muuten me todella piti huoneestamme, kauniisti sisustettu ja merenkulku oli hämmästyttävä! Pieni vähennys tulee myös koska korkeat hinnat hotellissa ravintola ja uima-altaat. Erityisesti juomat olivat hinnallisia. Huolimatta näistä pari miinusosaa, jään varmasti takaisin Egean kylään!"

The pool area is also beautiful. The delicious breakfast is served outside on the lovely terrace and leaves nothing to be desired. We simply enjoyed a wonderful and unforgettable holiday on Karpathos."

"Minulla oli ehdottomasti ihana oleskelu Cavo Marelia. Ainoana matkustajana vieraanvaraisuus ja ystävällisyys omistajien ja henkilöstön oli tärkeää ja sai minut tuntemaan kotona. Huone oli tilava mukava vuode , oli kaikki tarvittavat tilat ja puhdistus oli yläkerrassa. Loputon uima-allas on suuri omaisuus ja rannalla vain lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä sijainti on ihanteellinen. Ruoka ansaitsee erityisen mainitsemisen! Se oli suuria osia, erittäin maukasta, hyvää hintaa ja laaja valikoima. Kiitos Vasilis, ruoka oli korostettu matkani! "If you want to experience the ultimate Greek hospitality then: Hotel Finiki View is a must place to stay in. The owners: Panagiotis, Mary and their assistant make you feel pampered. They are absolutely hospitable, kind, considerate, also they offer laundry services, they carry your luggages, and they are flexible for check-in. Also they made sure to made you feel that they care for tenants' needs. The owners cook breakfast with natural, pure ingredients and organic eggs (€10 per breakfast). Moreover, they made sure to answer every question and request and also they are discreet. Their apartments are comfortable, with a great view. They clean their apartments very often, and also they change bed linen and towels very regularly, and they provide toiletries supplements."
Arkasa Bay Hotel
"Arkasa Bay offered more comfort, more space and more of a welcome in comparison with most other Greek island hotels that we have stayed at. We see this reflected in reviews by other guests as well. Breakfasts were tailored to people's requests. Rooms were cleaned every day. The hotel is small enough that it feels homely. You often see cats roaming around the terrace but they tend to shy away from guests and are fed discretely out of view. The nearest sandy beach is 10 minutes away, where you can enjoy a lunch or drinks at the nearby Glaros restaurant. For evening meals, we had the choice of several affordable restaurants close by, with Kipos being the best in our opinion. The only downside to Arkasa seemed to be impractical bus timetables if you didn't own a car. An excursion to Olympos is highly recommended."

"An excellent hotel, the room and bed was very comfortable; it is well situated in Foiniki village. Foiniki beach is very close to the hotel. Excellent breakfast prepared by m. Anna. Anna and Minas, the hosts were super helpful, and they went out of their way to help us with an issue."

"This is a unique property that I absolutely loved. Each morning, we were brought an exceptional breakfast to our villa - you are asked to fill out a menu the previous night. The villa is cleaned daily, and that’s about the only interaction you will have with the people who run the property. If you require lots of hand holding, this may not be to your liking. There is generally no staff present on the property after the rooms are cleaned in the morning, but there is a phone available to contact staff if needed. There are only four units on the property, each with two bedrooms, two full bathrooms and a living room. There is a fantastic pool on the property overlooking Karpathos town far below. The location is far enough away from Karpathos town that a car is required and recommended anyway to see the rest of the beautiful island. The property is super quiet and peaceful, and the rooms are very clean. If I return to Karpathos I will absolutely stay here."

"Nice hotel with clean rooms. Very convenient for exploring the island and has free parking. A 5-minute walk takes you to the center of Pigadia, full of bars, restaurants, and shops. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a lovely stay, and a really nice thing was that they had a super cute cat who was eager to be petted by everyone. The only downside was the breakfast, which was a bit limited; they didn't even have croissants."

"We have been trying for years to find a nice place to stay in Karpathos close to windsurfing sites in Afiartis but somehow we were never happy. Thalassa changed everything. It is clean, modern, cozy ,and roomy with tasty decorations and beautiful landscaping. It is conveniently located next to Anemos bar and the ION windsurfing centre. Manolis the owner is extremely helpful and this has to be one of the best accommodations in the island."

"We are staying 12 days. Food and rooms are wonderful. Service at the restaurant and housekeeping- impeccable. A very negative experience at the beach has very much tainted our trip. We feel unwelcome. We were told at check in we had an assigned pair of beach chairs, but if we wanted we could pick a beach chair, whichever worked for us. It would be assigned for our stay. That evening we went for our swim and next to our assigned chairs was a very intoxicated person. The next day we requested a chair in the middle of the hotel chair area, far from the original seats. The guy at the beach said ok but to be prepared to leave at any time if other guests come. We complied with this. This morning he raised his voice at me and my son when I requested to take more central chairs. He non stop kept interrupting me. I tried to explain we didn’t mind not being in the first row, we would take any chairs- we just wanted to be in the middle of hotel guests. When I explained what I was told at check in, he responded “I don’t care”, and proceeded to interrupt again and raise his voice. Instead of simply asking the check in person or a manager for help. I understand his work may be difficult, and maybe we were misinformed- but the way he responded to a request was incredibly unprofessional. If I had been one of the big 1.85m men in my family, I doubt he would have spoken to me this way. Instead he terrified my little kid. I had to ask him to lower his voice and be polite in front of my son. Even worse- after we went to the beach chairs he told us to take, he came back and said we were in the wrong chairs again. Then he proceeded to tell us he is the boss of the chairs and he decides so he doesn’t need to discuss anything with anyone. In many other places, this man would not have been tolerated a day. Worst beach experience. I tried to find a manager to discuss this with. Spoke to two different employees, while requesting a manager, and they both insisted he is the reference for beach chairs and we have to comply. For the price you can have a much better experience in a Greek beach resort. Especially given the time one spends at the beach. Sadly everything else is wonderful. Especially the chef at the restaurant is up to par with 5-star resort chefs. That said, having stayed in beach resorts in Asia, Hawaii, Cali, all over Europe, this is by far the worst beach experience."

"So glad that we chose Montemar for our recent stay in Arkasa. The location is great, close to a nice beach with a bar and lovely cafe. The apartments are quite simple but have everything that you need, if you get a sea view, which I think most have then the sunsets are lovely. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Probably best to hire a car to make the most of the area. Montemar has been great for a relaxing break, I hope we will return."

Struttura un po datata, che necessiterebbe qualche miglioria al bagno ed in particolare alla doccia, ma per il resto oltremodo pulito, con cambio quotidiano di lenzuola ed asciugamani. La camera è dotata di angolo cottura con frigorifero e lavello e tavolino con sedie. Ampio e comodo letto matrimoniale. Grande armadio guardaroba con cassaforte a chiave. Piacevole il terrazzo con tavolino e poltroncine. La signora che fa gli onori di casa, sempre cordiale, sorridente e disponibile. Merita trascorrerci una vacanza Located just outside the center of Arkasa, very close to a supermarket and pharmacy in a quiet area, with a splendid view from the second floor, of the sea and its sunsets. Structure a bit dated, which would need some improvements to the bathroom and in particular to the shower, but otherwise extremely clean, with daily change of sheets and towels. The room has a kitchenette with fridge and sink and table with chairs. Large and comfortable double bed. Large wardrobe with key safe. The terrace with table and armchairs is pleasant. The lady who does the honors of the house, always friendly, smiling and helpful. It deserves a vacation "
