Lake Manyara Kilimamoja Lodge

The staff is so great! Moses, Milami and everyone! It’s just day 2 and I decided to write the review in case I forgot. The staff or family as they say, is incredible and they are extremely attentive! The property is gorgeous and our room has the best view for Sunrises!! 3 safaris are coming up so, the peaceful setting prior to is great!

After a bumpy road we arrived at this amazing place cool and fresh atmosphere, the view the environment is what you want after a tiresome day. welcomed by refreshing goodies , drinks and maasai dance. the staff were so helpfull and welcoming, the rooms are stuning, with great views of the great riftvalley not forgeting the outside shower. the food changed the whole experience, this was so far the best food we had in africa, from the presentation, freshness and the taste was out of this world, the ingredients married each other to one. thanks to chef, and our suprise the chef came to check on us, we really appreciate for making our stay memorable

Die Lodge ist im Alt-englischen Stil eingerichtet. Die Bungalows sind wunderschön, sauber und sehr gross mit einer riesigen Terrasse. Die Betten sind sehr bequem. Die Freundlichkeit des Personals, das feine Essen und die wunderschöne Anlage haben unseren Aufenthalt hier perfekt gemacht.

We stayed at this hotel as part of a safari trip during our honeymoon. We were completely blown away by the hotel. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by staff to take our luggage, given a welcome drink, had women singing and dancing to welcome us on arrival and had a seat in the lounge for our check in. We were then taken to our room which was beautiful with the most gorgeous wraparound balcony with an amazing view over the surroundings. We were able to sit outside and watch the sunrise from our balcony. The hotel pool was exactly what we needed after a long day on safari. The food at the hotel was outstanding. We were treated to a four course dinner every night, and the quality was excellent. We were particularly impressed by the service we received from the staff at this hotel. Every staff member was friendly and courteous, and could not do enough to make our stay special. We were greeted with a flower display at dinner saying “enjoy your honeymoon” and were treated to a bottle of sparkling wine to celebrate. At breakfast the hotel had set up a “just married” sign to greet us in the morning. We would like to particularly mention George Mark who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was special. The only thing to mention was that the drive up to the hotel is very rocky, but this is to be expected to get to a hotel in such a remote and beautiful location. We could not recommend this hotel enough. We will always remember our stay here!

Die Lage der Lodge ist spektakulär. Der Ausblick aus unserem Bungalow am Hang war fantastisch. Leider wirkt die Lodge und die Bungalos im altenglischen Kolonial-Safaristyle überladen und düster. Sehr enttäuschend fanden wir das Essen im Restaurant.

Stunning property. Amenities and decor are done to perfection. Staff was amazing - friendly, attentive and took care of anything needed. Bed was so comfortable, had the best night sleep after long safari day. Highly recommend, wish we had more time here!
