Maharaja Agrasen Palace

During our tour of Maharashtra, first hotel we stayed was Maharaj Agrasen Palace located just on outskirt of city. We stayed two wonderful nights. Hotel built just few years ago. All the staff were polite and courteous. Room was extremely comfortable with all amenities. Hotel was not that busy when we stayed. However, it also caters for wedding functions. Breakfast was served at the table and menu selection was fulfilling. I believe the hotel has sewing & computer academy & has bicycles that can be used free of charge around the hotel perimeter. In all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Maharaja Agrasen Palace.

Overall our experience was a comfy one and really enjoyed our visit here. Though our visit started with a hiccup (not due to the hotel, but due to the booking medium used), the manager on duty (Mr. Luke Pereira) ensured that the resolution was graceful and such that we weren't inconvenienced. Kudos to him and the rest of the staff. They even offered us breakfast while the issue got resolved. Which was a nice gesture on their part. Talking about the rest of the experience. The hotel in itself is in a very quiet place, so if you are looking for a quiet escape from the city hussle n bussle, you can give this place a shot. Our main goal was to visit Ekvira Devi temple, which is at a distance of 2.5km from the hotel. The main road is a walkable 2 mins from the hotel, from where then you'll get rickshaws for the temple. Since it was our anniversary, I'd requested the manager if some minor decorations could be done without the knowledge of my wife so as to surprise her on our way back and he courteously agreed to it. That was a plus. Then since we couldn't find any decent eateries around the temple, we came back to the hotel for lunch. My wife being a bit apprehensive since it's a veg hotel and it was her nonveg day, still tried the food and loved it. I had no expectations as such just plain hunger from all the climbing and waiting, absolutely loved the paneer dish and their naans. Dinner also was ***** the lines of the lunch in terms of items and taste so we weren't disappointed with that either. Their gym is well maintained and any gym buff or even a beginner won't have any issues with the equipments. They even offer spa and have a decent play area with many small but enjoyable games which you can enquire for at the reception. All in all it was a pleasent experience, we wouldn't mind having again with more of our family members. This one turned into an essay 😂... TLDR; loved it.
