設施很舊，很多設計不友好，洗浴設備很一般，早餐比較豐富

Hotel Suisse carries a colonial charm that takes you back in time. The food is good, offering a fair range of choices. However, the dining experience was slightly marred by some worn napkins. The air conditioning in our room was a bit loud, but it didn't keep us from having a comfortable stay. I might look into other hotels in the area next time to experience something different.

房間很大，設施舊一點，但是很寬綽，電梯估計酒店自己按的，看不出品牌，佛牙寺在kandy湖對面，步行15-20分鐘可到，攜程評分3.5有點低，大體還是不錯的，歐洲人多，餐飲歐系/印度咖喱系

可能是尋找訂單時間過長，給了我們一個套房，大卧室+衞生間+客廳。400來塊含雙人早餐+晚餐，child free 實在是太友好了。 衹能説酒店年頭很久遠，的確設施有點跟不上，但整體來説性價比很不錯。

This was the fourth time I stayed at Hotel Suisse. Great place. Good hospitality. It was a pleasant stay. The two you receptionist need to get more experience. They did not find any records of my trip.com booking. I had to find my records and provide those to them.

Once the water problem in bathroom was fixed we had an enjoyable stay! Breakfast had a variety of choices view was nice over the lake, staff helpful, gardens lovely! Building was a lovely English one from that era!

This is a fantastic hotel. rooms were very comfortable. The hotel is convenient to the lake of kandy as well as to the train station. I only wish we could have stayed longer than just one night before continuing on to other parts of sri lanka. Staff is really nice and they did their job very well.food are so delicious

My husband,son and myself were booked into the queens hotel but we received a message to say because of the fuel shortage they would be upgrading us to the Suisse hotel. Well if this was an upgrade I dread to think what the queens was like, It was so disappointing to be put into a room which had obviously been barely cleaned. The sheets on the bed were stained, my sons pillow was dirty and the bathroom mats were awful! None of the bed linen had been ironed! The bathroom needs updating . So then we decided to have a meal in the restaurant which was a buffet. Once again the napkins on the table were so grey in colour and all screwed up! The food was much to be desired, the vegetables on offer were so hard none of us could eat them. The mashed potatoes were really lumpy , the pork chops being cooked on the bbq were the best part , the desserts were very basic. Breakfast was much the same but eggs being cooked by the chef were the best part. Some of the glasses and plates were also dirty! It is such a shame that this lovely old building hasn’t been maintained. On the positive side the lady manager was very nice and so were the staff. There had been a wedding in the afternoon so I’m hoping that this was the reason , but reading some of the other comments I doubt it . We have been on a tour of Sri Lanka and this was the only hotel that we’ve stayed in that hasn’t been up to standard.

The location is great, right on Kandy Lake and near the train station and several of the tourist sights in Kandy. The building was gorgeous, feeling luxurious while keeping true to the historical feeling of the building. We were on a tour, and our driver told the staff we were on our honeymoon and they decorated the room beautifully, and set up a gorgeous private dining experience for us on our first night. The staff were really attentive. There was some maintenance work going on but you could tell they were very mindful of it - eg not working near the restaurant at meal times etc. And the pool area was beautiful, a great spot to relax after a warm day sightseeing.

They have nearly completed 8 months of renovations. Its a pity I only had one night here. Very classy, great service. Brand new bedding. Beautiful rooms. Pool out the front. Lake across the road. They really want to please you. I would love to stay here again.

Hotel Suisse oozes history. Your imagination is certainly triggered by the interior and the pictures of old times in the hall and lobby. Nevertheless it's obvious that the hotel is in need of renovation. Cherish the old times, make the rooms more 21sth century and you have a diamond in Kandy.

Stayed for one night at the start of our cultural triangle short break. A shout out to the team including Mr Ranjan and Amila - nothing is too much trouble and our brief stay was most enjoyable. There are newer hotels in Kandy but I would stay here again just for the service and location.

We stayed for two weeks as part of a 2 month visit to this wonderful country. The staff at the front desk, the restaurant and especially the room service was outstanding. Fahim and Yasaan respected our wishes as to when to make up the room and kept doing us favours. They surprised us several times by creating animals from towels and sprinkling flower leaves on our bed. It felt like honeymoon... Downside is the price of beer when ordered to the room and you need to be aware of traffic noise during the day while it is totally quiet at night. Mosquitos were almost absent during our stay in January. We enjoyed just walking through the classic building. There are many nice rooms but we specifically enjoyed 419 with a large balcony towards the lake where we put our yoga mat and exercised in the cool mornings. The pool is also worth mentioning. It is probably around 20m long and 12m wide with a depth of 2.5m at on end and 1m at the other. Perfect for exercising or just enjoying or fooling around. We enjoyed staying within walking distance of the city center and walking along the beautiful lake we observed the numerous monitors, turtles, cormorans and even a pelican. The food at the hotels restaurant was always very good (and the dining hall incredibly beautiful with outdoor seating available) and if you want to save or vary, there are options nearby such as the very good value priced "no name" restaurant or the Mango garden wooden roofed terrace within walking distance. We couldn't have been more happy with our stay at this grand hotel!

Bel hôtel qui garde le charme du début du siècle surtout la salle à manger où on se croirait dans le décor de Titanic Les chambres sont grandes et on gardé le style ancien ce qui fait leur charme La salle de bain est grande et mise au goût du jour Le seul point négatif est le repas du soir que nous avons pris 2 fois car arrivé tard à cause de nos excursions Buffet vraiment pas varié et plusieurs plats étaient tièdes Le petit-déjeuner buffet est meilleur surtout tout l espace plats sri lankais qui aurait été le bienvenu la veille au soir
