In the year leading up to our wedding here this hotel had 3 changes of manager . Initially it was Simon - top manager , then Rachel she seemed OK ( it was her 1st day when we met her , but Simon was on hand ) . We sorted out all the details of our reception and all good . Day of the wedding , manager 3 didn't seem to have any idea of what had been agreed , spoke to the owner on the phone, she was just aggressive , rude and obstructive. On each change of management the hotel has got worse . The executive suite with the Spa is OK, unless you want hot water , the heater does not have the capacity to serve the spa and end result is luke warm at best . The executive room with the multi head shower, the shower suffers the same issue . Food is really good , but slow and to be fair all the managers have been pleasant . For what a room costs.... its probably OK. A long way out from kampala , dogs barking all night and it's standards have slipped so far in just a year . All said it's a shame , the staff are lovely and the hotel itself has potential if only it was run / owned by proffesionals
