Anika Studios

Anika Studios is amazing value for money. My boyfriend and I booked through EasyJet to visit in mid June, and we enjoyed the restaurant and cocktails by the pool. The staff were lovely and friendly, and the aircon was €10 per night upon arrival, which we were expecting and worked brilliantly anyway. There’s also plenty of room to park a hire car opposite, which we did with no issues. Well located set back outside of the main resort, although there is a 20min walk to the beach, so be aware if you think you might struggle in the heat. There are plenty of shops/bars/restaurants in Faliraki which we went to to buy some cheap gyros and souvenirs, but would definitely recommend hiring a car to drive down to Lindos, or even just getting an Uber into Rhodes town also. Maybe one thing to note also, is the mattresses are quite hard. I slept okay but my boyfriend did struggle the first couple of nights. Overall, a great hotel if you’re looking to see Rhodes on a budget.

Aankomst bijna 15 minuten moeten wachten omdat er niemand bij de balie was, wel hartelijk ontvangst. Ik kwam ziek uit vliegtuig (migraine) waardoor ik mij niet goed voelde. Helaas werd er niet geholpen met de bagage naar boven brengen zodat mijn man op leeftijd alles in zijn eentje moest doen. Kamer netjes, wel in een steeg, dus geen mooi uitzicht, maar voordeel hiervan was dat we niet vol in de zon zaten. Klein balkon maar hier kun je prima vertoeven. Mooie kamer, we vonden wel haren van de vorige gasten in de badkamer op de grond schoonmaak kan wel beter. Bed te zacht voor mijn man met een topper was dit probleem snel opgelost. Tevens kleine en zachte kussens en wij hebben nog 2 extra gekregen waardoor het al een stuk beter lag. Ook een keer balkonlamp moeten vervangen. Receptie 24/7 bemand, maar iedere keer als wij wat wilden vragen was er niemand, die moesten wij dan uit het restaurant halen, geen probleem maar zet dan geen bordje neer dat je 24/7 bemande receptie hebt. Restaurant heel goed eten, maar wel erg aan de prijs. Vriendelijke bediening, maar iedere avond zelfde playlist die wij zelfs in onze kamer konden horen. Onveilige situatie met kookplaat, bedrading lag compleet open en hebben dat bij gebruik helemaal niet gezien. Ik zag het pas bij 3e gebruik. Mijn man had wel geëlektrocuteerd kunnen worden of brand kunnen veroorzaken. In de ochtend weer niemand bij de receptie, dus een briefje met kamernummer erop geschreven en dangerous maar toen wij eind van de dag terugkwamen geen reactie of nieuwe kookplaat, dus moesten wij weer langs receptie en dan krijgt housekeeping de schuld dat zij dit moeten zien? De eigenaar is verantwoordelijk voor veiligheid en moet dit soort dingen zelf tackelen en de gasten niet in gevaar brengen, excuses was op zijn plaats geweest maar die hebben wij dus niet gekregen. In de kleine keuken summiere keukenspullen, geen knijpers voor kledingrek op balkon, geen afwasmiddel, geen spons, geen vaatdoekje. Dit was het eerste appartement waar wij dit zelf moesten kopen. Conclusie; wij hebben stukje hospitality gemist, wij zijn hele dagen weg en slapen alleen in de accommodatie, daarom vonden wij het verbazingwekkend om toch heel veel op- en of aanmerkingen te hebben tijdens ons verblijf.

Rooms are not refurbished to a high standard so this is dissapointing as it wasnt as good as the photos looked online. Bathroom needs doing up as there is a strange panel on the left wall full of rust. Bathroom window dirty. Bit of mold building up too along shower . Shower head old. One bulb missing from mirror in main room but other than this the main room was fine +clean. Not much space to store your clothes if you are there for a week as a couple. Bin provided in kitchen cupboard broken so we just kept the lid open constantly. Cleaners emptied the bin so im not sure why they didnt give us a new bin. Floors not mopped to a high standard. You wouldnt really know the room had been cleaned.The bed is the main highlight of the room as its very comfortable. Pool was very nice. Added bonus was the Cats! Complex feels more like an apartment complex for locals rather than a holiday complex. Food in restaurant was nice big portion for a good price! Im not one to complain on holiday as im there to enjoy, i also paid a fair price to be there and I dont feel it impacted my holiday at all just wouldnt stay there again. A lock should be put on the courtesy shower that you provide near the luggage room.

Wij hadden een tweekamer app. geboekt. Bij aankomst hartelijk ontvangen. Eenmaal in ons appartement bleken de ramen niet open te kunnen. Dit gemeld en de volgende dag was het probleem verholpen. Het balkon van dit tweekamer app. ligt aan de keuken-/restaurantzijde. De afzuiginstallatie van de keuken ligt op ongeveer 4-5 meter van het balkon.... Borrelen, een boek lezen, of een keer 's avonds "thuis" blijven was er niet bij, de overlast was te groot, een gesprek voeren bijna onmogelijk en de frituurlucht heel vies. De afzuiginstallatie slaat vanaf 10 uur 's morgens tot 's avonds 22.45 uur random aan. De kitchenette is minimaal ingericht, het serviesgoed niet schoon, er is geen afwasmiddel-borstel-doekje aanwezig, dat moet je zelf kopen, wat jammer is. De bedden waren gelukkig wel comfortabel. De ligging ten opzichte van Faliraki is prima, voldoende leuke restaurants op loopafstand.

Really nice small complex about 10 minutes from the centre of Faliraki. Two pools - we only used the adult one and the last running the pool bar was fab. Room was refurbished and very nice however there was a lot of wasted space. Very little storage - no drawers and a smell addiction short for longer dresses. Balcony was tiny too. Food at the pool bar was really nice but snack menu only available until 2.45 then it was the main menu which was a little bit strange. Not sure if it’s because we spent very little time around the main pool or in the bar but we food the staff quite aloof and distant. Not even an acknowledgment or a hello in passing from most of them. Certainly some of the most unfriendly staff I’ve found in 40 years travelling to Greece. It wasn’t big issue though as we do our own thing but a smile might have been nice. All in all a really nice stay and very good value.

We’re just back after a weeks stay at Anika Studios and would definitely recommend it! We booked through our local travel agent and feel for what we paid, our holidays been a total bargain! The hotel is lovely, quite modern and the pool/bar area is gorgeous. Our room was spacious and clean with a big balacony. Staff were all friendly and super helpful. We were room only but had lunch in the hotel a few days and we thought the food was great and good value for money! I am celiac and the hotel catered really well to this with gluten free bread and tortilla wraps - if you’re celiac you’ll know this can sometimes be a rare experience lol. Had quite a few drinks in the hotel too which were all lovely, we felt the drinks were a little pricey but this seemed to be the case everywhere we went in Rhodes. Only thing I would say is I don’t think this hotel is great for young families. The hotel has a very quiet, chilled out feel to it and I think young kids would be bored easily here. Overall, it’s a great hotel and we had the best time ☺️
